The fusion classical music trio ‘Muses’ held a performance at the Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 and stopped the busy travels moving around standstill with their enchanting melodies; the performance was organized by the Incheon International Airport Corporation to mark its 20th birthday.

Muses is formed by three musical goddesses: Jeong Min-gyeong (leader and violinist), Lee Da-mi (violinst) and Yoon Mi-jin (cellist). The trio was invited to the stages organized by the KBS and the CBS in 2015 followed by an invitational performance in the Philippines in 2016 and the Ulsan Jazz Festival in 2017. Muses released the debut album ‘Cloudy and then Clear’ in 2013 and two more albums ‘Fair Tales’ in 2015 and the tango-motivated ‘The Passion’ in 2017.

The busy travelers at the Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 were captivated by the smooth melodies of Fairy Tale, Moonlight Rhapsody and Into the Forest followed by tango rhythms of Nostalgia, Funky Soul and Passionate Dance; the travellers stood or took a seat where there were and were guided to a land of fantasy.

“To make the experience of visiting Korea more fun, we are organizing around 5 performances in various genres a month at the moment” said an official of the Incheon International Airport Corporation.

The Terminal 2 opened October last year and the 7 in-house airlines have air-shifted yearly 19 million passengers to and from Incheon. Taking the momentum, the airport is ambitious to hold around yearly 2,200 performances at the airport to raise its status as the greatest ‘ArtPort’ in the world.
