Kim Heong-ju, CEO of INS Company, is one of the leaders of Korean IT industry who holds a number of electronic security solution technologies. But he is more famous for fostering talented future IT specialists in Korea at various schools and companies. INS Company is particularly focusing on fostering professional white hackers who can protect important information both private and national from any harmful and vicious attacks. 

Hackers are highly trained computer programmers who have extensive knowledge in the field as long as they have good intention and law-abiding. There people are called ‘white hackers’ as opposed to ‘crackers’ who are bound to break into information illegally or with bad intention at any time. Therefore, fostering talented white hackers to fight with crackers are as important as fostering IT specialists in general. 

In recognition of his contribution to the industry, Kim received the Order of Industrial Service Merit No.2845 in 2012 followed by winning the Korea Inventor Award 2013 and the Chevalier Distinguished Service Belgium. Also in March this year, he received the 2019 Korea Value Management Awards in the IT category.
