Korean people are using two types of heating methods: floor heating system and hot-air blower. The former is expensive and the latter makes the air dry. The introduction of the world’s first special plastic heat exchanger by Wett Energy Tech, in this respect, is but good news.
CEO Kim majored in thermodynamics at Westminster University in London, UK. He has built extensive experience in the field of heating and air conditioning for the last 35 years and taken part in a number of notable projects including Hanwha Life Insurance building, Gyeongsangnam-do Office and the National Museum of Korea as well as overseas projects in Saudi Arabia, Libya and Iraq.
The development of the world’s first special plastic heat exchanger largely ascribes to the technique accumulated through these years. It is such a great feat considering the fact that nobody imagined or tried making heat exchanger with plastic except metal. Even Kim looks back and says “Altering metal to plastic was a huge risk to take.”
In fact, Kim developed this innovative plastic heat exchanger in cooperation with Germany and it is designed as one body type detachable heat exchanger and pump. The advantages of plastic heat exchanger as opposed to metal are at better application, high efficiency, light weight, 0% corrosion, reusable, high precision, economy and productivity.
The special plastic heat exchanger-applied Wett Energy Tech products are electric hot water boiler, electric hot water blower and electric water heater. The electric hot water blower, in particular, has obtained CE mark (Conformite Europeenne).
This electric hot water blower is designed for agricultural use, stockbreeding or factory. The agricultural and stockbreeding are registered as ‘Smart Farm’ equipment models for economy and convenience and have product liability insurance. The factory use, on the other hand, is portable and can save energy by up to 30% compared to its rival brands.
Kim, who emphasizes the importance of using wet heating, points out “The Korea Energy Agency knows well about the energy consuming floor heating system but they seem to do nothing much to improve it. A good alternative is using wet heating which warms up wide areas without using much energy.”
Taking the momentum, Kim is pushing forward his ambition to export this excellent wet heating system to the world starting from Mongolia and China.
