Famous for its motto ‘Absolute Quality, Absolute Price’, Atomy gave the first shovel at the groundbreaking ceremony of Atomy Orot Factory in the Bomul Agricultural Industrial Complex in Gongju City on 18th October. 100 officials including Atomy chairman Park Han-gil, Atomy Orot Factory CEO Kim Chi-bong, Gongju mayor Kim Jeong-seob, Gongjug City Council chairman Park Byeong-su alongside Atomy members attended on the day to cut the string.

When completed on 34,927 square meter land with 3 stories aboveground and 1 story underground, Atomy Orot Factory is expected to function as the Atomy’s ambitious food and drinks cluster for global distribution. Alongside the production and processing facilities, Atomy Orot Factory is to include the central research center, Orot Food Research Lab and an office to manage partner companies as well as a space for incubation.

One of the major projects of Atomy Orot Factory is HMR (Home Meal Replacement), the healthy homemade food and drinks for everyone; it will be spread global-wide through the Atomy sales network of 3.3 million members home and 2 million overseas members in 11 countries including Japan, Canada, Taiwan, Singapore and the US. Atomy is ambitious to grow this part of business as THE best Korean food and drink cluster and distribution center.

“The Atomy Orot Factory’s safe, quality and rich nutritional food and drinks will give global consumers a completely differentiated concept of homemade food and drinks” sad Atomy chairman Park Han-gil.

While the Atomy’s brand value and sales figures are drawing upward trajectory, the company is also increasing the level of donation and disabled-friendly management: Atomy donated 500 million won (US $447,000) to welfare, disabled and cultural centers through various in-house events including the famous Atomy Love Share Running; in June last year, Atomy also built a partnership with Cheil Industrial whose employees are mostly disabled or elderly.
