Taekang is an industrial development company located in Byeollae-dong, Namyangju City. Apart from his chairman’s role of the company, An is serving as the chairman of the Byeollae Security Council on which he is engaging in various community activities. Recognizing his devotion and contribution to regional development, the city rewarded him a prize last year. 

From safety guiding and cleaning the villages to promoting harmony between the residents, An’s passion in building a safe and friendly community has been well known to many residents.

His strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness also are highly praised to have raised consolidation between local organizations among the local officials. 

Early this year, An and the people in the same mind raised a 9.2 million fund and donated gift boxes to the Byeollae Care Center. The gift boxes include 16 kinds of daily necessities such as shampoo and washing liquid and they were sent out to 200 low income households. 

The members of the Byeollae Security Council also engaged in flood recoveries and a donation of 4,000kg grains to the people in need. 

An said “We will keep doing these goods deeds for as long as the council lasts so that underprivileged neighbor in our society should not feel left out.”
