Many industry experts have been pointing out lack of money, brand recognition and market analysis as the main reason for Korean security companies to go global. But eWBM proved its unique technique in the field at the 2018 RSA Conference held in San Francisco, USA, by demonstrating MS500 Series, LoRa and IP cameras, the occasion which led eWBMto a contact with Steen Harbach.

The eWBM’s MS Series is optimized for hardware certification and encryption. It is praised for realizing real-time monitoring and security management. “A specialist of Steen Harbach gave a thorough analysis on our chips and praised them as cutting edge device chips. As a result, Steen Harbach showed more interest in our products including LoRa and we will duly respond.”

LoRa is a LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) technology used as a tool for IoT communications allowing in and out of 10km areas. An official of eWBM said “We are also working on pioneering the US market with our innovative MS500 Series.” CEO Oh continued“eWBM is relatively less known in Korea since the security consciousness is stronger in Europe than our homeland. And we are proud to be recognized in Germany first where the term ‘4th Industrial Revolution’originated. Taking the momentum, however, we will work on opening an export channel to more markets globally.”

In fact, eWBM is the first case of Korean security firms to pioneer overseas market and the company is expected to have made a milestone for Korean follow ups. Meanwhile, eWBM is demonstrating excellence of the MS Series, LoRa and FIDO2.0 at the 2018 IoT Week Korea held at COEX for three days from 12 September this year.
