It is reported that around 50,000 Koreans are enjoying horse riding as hobby. The industry officials say that more is expecting to enjoy the sport but relatively still high cost is turning their back. 
If you think you are one in the category, good news is here from Roboma, the developer of the horse riding simulator (Roboma), located in Hanam City. The 10 horse models facing the simulator screens on a 330m2 space horse riding course are waiting for you to try on. 

You might feel like to undervalue this so called 'screen horse riding' by the sound but you will find it as good as a real riding once you give it a try. The 4D images on the screen are designed with precision to realize a real horse riding by industry experts. 

Also, if the existing horse riding simulators are more like horse-type sporting goods, the simulators of Roboma are loaded with AI and 4D technologies to give near-real horse riding feel for beginners to the experienced. "We poured enormous amount of time, money and effort in development of real horse like horse models. Every single muscle must be worked like a real one and that made our job hard and tough. But we believed in what we do and eventually made it happen" says CEO Kim. 

She adds "If you are a first timer, you will find yourself hard on rising more than 30 minutes because you have to erect your spine straight and to straighten your legs. As the number of riding accumulates, however, you can gradually feel the power forming in your body and the stress being eased." 

The frequent users of Roboma (more than 50 times of riding) are carrying on their simulation experience onto the real field experience and they found almost no difficulty in riding a real horse thanks to the realistic simulators of Roboma. 

When it comes to safety, Roboma becomes strict that all riders must follow the safety rules. "Riders must put on the seat belt and are strictly advised to follow the instructor's guide for their safety." 

When asked about future plan, Kim said "Simulated horse riding can be a good sport for children and elderly to keep their health sound as well as general people. So I would like to spread it nationwide and when the time comes I'd also like to pioneer overseas markets."
