Qin Shi Huang’s elixir plant was but Korean dendropanax?
A story goes that Qin Shi Huang gave an order to Xu Fu to go and find the elixir plant with ten thousand children and the elixir plant was but Korean dendropanax. The tree is known to help blood circulation and pressure, hangover and immunity. “Some say it as ‘cure for all tree’ since it prevents diseases and if not cures them. For this reason, it was so valuable that commoners hardly saw the glimpse of it but royal families at the palace in the olden times” says Jo Chang-su, CEO of Hurim Korea Dendro Panax. A research tells that it has excellent functions to recover immunity and reduces cholesterol and neutral fat and helps remove active oxygen thanks to the rich antioxidants and bactericidal agents it contains. Jo established his methods of cultivation through years of research and trials and produced natural healthy product lines. He asked Green Cross Labcell a test of his product lines and the result showed that they help reduce the level of uric acid, triglyceride and total cholesterol; the test on 13 patients with cholesterol issue showed that 11 recovered to the normal range and on 13 patients with uric acid issue showed that all of them saw the level going down with 3 of them recovered to the normal range. Jo also has applied for a patent for a gout improvement substance, secured a patent right for Korean dendropanax effective on prostatism alongside a U.S. patent application right. 

Korean dendropanax goes global
With these great achievements as the firm foundation, Jo has succeeded development of cosmetic product lines that are excellent for improving pimples and atopy. The products are currently being exported to Singapore and Thailand and Jo is expanding the market to the whole South East Asian region with Chazmi Soap and its upgraded version GoldenDrop Cleansing AC Form. The latter product has already drawn a contract with Olive Young Vietnam and Jo and Oliver Young Vietnam invited 30 sellers to a demonstration event on June 12. In recognition of his contribution to development of Korea agricultural industry, Jo was chosen as one of the 100 excellent farmers of Korea in 2015 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
