“All technologies start from man. AI is our effort to make it function like near our brain. The more advanced the technology the closer the AI to our brain. We must be aware the fact, however, that AI can never think what our brains all think but is limited to the developer’s intention and layout. For this reason, an AI contained only the developer’s idea can be very dangerous” warns Kim Yong-suk, CEO of Special Lab & Company. Nobody knows that the terrible AI robots destroying the mankind like in the movie <The Terminator> can be a reality sometime in near future considering the fact that the advanced countries are already in the stage of developing AI war robots; Korea follows suit led by the National Defense AI Research Institute. Kim emphasizes “To avoid the <The Terminator>, AI must be built based on our moral and common good not only among a certain group of leading people but all the people relating to science and technology.” Special Lab & Company is an IT specialist group that runs a web support center at the Bucheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Startup Incubator. SLC provides IT technologies such as web site development and maintenance, marketing, planning to in-house companies of the 4 of Bucheon Techno Park. Apart from SLC, Kim also provides personality and mind control training at various organizations and companies through a non-profit organization ‘Special Mind Lab’. Kim graduated from Korea Naval Academy and worked as an officer for 10 years. After discharged, he engaged in the legal world for 15 years and saw many conflicts between the people. “Recreations or games can be good tools to see what’s going on in one’s mind. What is important is that one must accept the fault. It is really hard but mind control starts from accepting. Developing one’s mind for common good is very important and the earlier one starts the better since the children’s mind is still open to accept many things unlike the grownups.” Kim adds “Man makes all contents and the contents with common good can be beneficial to us all. This is the reason that mind comes first before science and technology.”
