¡ã Park Ki-wan, CEO of HOTEL CLOUD

HOTEL CLOUD is located in Sinheung-ro, Uijeongbu. It is 10 floors above ground and 2 underground and has 60 rooms in total. Opened in December 2017, HOTEL CLOUD boasts granite exterior and modern interior realized in the theme of grandiose. From normal guests to family and businessmen, the hotel offers inviting ambience and relaxing facilities. The services are praised by many of those who accommodated once at the hotel and the price also is rational. CEO Park and his wife Song Myeong-hwa, in fact, designed the hotel themselves. You can have a fantastic view towards Surak Mountain and Dobong Mountain on the 9th floor. The materials used for each room are eco-friendly and the props here and there create a unique atmosphere floor by floor. You might imagine that you are entering a gallery not a hotel since Song installed many of her collections in corridors and rooms. If you need a room for a special occasion, HOTEL CLOUD recommends you one of the two penthouses on the 10th floor or of the 7 suites. If you just wish to relax over a night, the 51 standard rooms still will greet you with satisfaction. The penthouses in particular have a whirlpool bath with a wooden deck. It is noteworthy that you can reach amenities and public offices within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Thanks to its uniqueness and relaxing atmosphere, you must book in advance especially on weekends. Park majored in business administration at Yonsei University. He worked for Shinsegae Department Store for 5 years and ran Dongbang F&S thereafter. The management is backed up by Deputy CEO Lee Wan-su. Lee is a qualified Korean food chef and has a number of certificates relating to health and safety, personality education and leadership training. Park and Lee became close friends since they know that they are both Yonsei University graduates. Park put ‘CLOUD’ as the name of the hotel brand to mean ‘the sky high – the best’. When asked about future plan, Park said that he wished to grow HOTEL CLOUD as the best hotel in Uijeongbu.
