Moon pays respect to victims of April 19th Revolution
President Moon paid respect to the victims of the April 19 Revolution at the April 19th National Cemetery station where the 224 people who lost their lives during the revolution in 1960 sleep in peace. Moon laid a wreath before the monument and offered incense three times and a silent prayer thereafter with ministers and high government officials alongside the families of the victims. Moon wrote on the visitor’s book ‘With the spirit of the April 19th Revolution, I will build a country on justice and fairness.’ Moon then shook hands with the family members of the victims who wished Moon a successful South-North Summit.

President Moon attended the opening ceremony of LG Science Park on 20 April, the month of science. Located within the Magok R&D Industrial Complex, LG Science Park is aiming to promote industries and technologies relating to the 4th Industrial Revolution. “Cooperation and convergence happen when global companies, young startuppers and talented engineers and researchers gather together in one place. LG Science Park is the very site of private-led innovative growth and it will bring innovations to the electronics, information and communications and biotechnology industries in Korea” said Moon in his congratulatory speech. Moon then toured the complex and met the LG home robot ‘CLOi’ and tried to bend the 0.4mm flexible OLED screen. He also had a look around the new medicine research and development site and took a ride on the futuristic vehicle ‘Telematics’.
