CEO Kim has 20 years of experience in food franchise and rose to fame with ‘Hodongi Sukbulchon’ and ‘Samgyeop Hanpan’ that once had 200 braches. Launching Bulkun Nakji, Kim already has opened 10 branches and says “I focused on management and menu this time. Small octopus is popular food for many Koreans and is known to be stamina food. For this reason, the small octopus restaurants relatively last longer and I introduced ‘stir-fried octopus’that can takes only 1 and half minutes to cook.”Businessman wise, it is Kim’s motto to make most profits with minimum investments. He has a sharp eye to read the market and ability to adopt new ideas. “Women like small octopus more than men. Some people call small octopus as the pearl of the mud for it is rich in taurine, protein and minerals. Also, the menus of small octopus can be very simple like stir-fried, pan cake or stew.
