Moon invites leaders of the parties 
President Moon invited the leaders of the political parties to the Blue House on 7th last month. All five leaders (Chu Mi-ae, Hong Jun-pyo, Yoo Seong-min, Cho Bae-sook and Lee Jeong-mi: the Democratic, Korea, Bareun Future, Democracy & Peace and Justice in order) gathered together on the day. Moon said “I guess it is the first time we all gathered together in one place and I would like to show my gratitude to you all. Korea is facing a critical moment regarding the peace and denuclearization at the moment. I would like to hear how we can sail through this opportunity from you today.” Chung Eui-yong, Director of the National Security Office, also attended the gathering and briefed on the result of the recent visit to the North. 

Moon meets Koreans living in the UAE
On the second day of his visit to the UAE on 26 last month, President Moon invited 130 Koreans from businessmen to workers and medical men to a meeting he organized. Back in the 70s, many Korean workers flew to the Middle East to earn foreign money through construction works. Today, Korea and the UAE are exchanging in many areas such as high tech, medicine, culture and literature. Moon mentioned about the Koreans who worked hard in this foreign land in the past and showed his gratitude to them. He then asked the invited to work together to promote the cooperation between the two countries. Moon valued highly of the ‘Special Strategic Partnership’ between the two countries and asked to give a continuous interest and support to the cooperation in many areas from energy, construction and plant to intellectual properties, science and ICT. Moon added that the Korean government would do its best to protect the rights and safety of the Koreans living in the UAE and to give diversified support for the business and diplomacy.
