대구광역시 동구에 위치한 (주)메가콤은 대구·경북 지역을 대표하는 공기압축기 생산제조 전문기업이다. 메가콤이 생산하는 산업용 스큐류 컴프레샤는 흡입형 냉각팬인 백워드팬을 적용하고 외부 유입방식 Aero Dynamic Case Design을 적용하여 효율을 극대화 하였으며 가동 중에 열교환기(Cooler) 청소가 가능하고 사용자 위주로 한눈에 볼 수 있는 디스플레이 방식의 컨트롤러를 적용하여 편의성을 높였다. 또한, 인버터(Inverter) 및 Y-D 겸용사용으로, 인버터 고장 시 Y-D 자동 전환 기능이 탑재되었으며 독일 정밀 가공 기계로 제작한 Air End를 사용하여 저소음 및 유량 효율을 최고치로 실현하였다.

최 대표는 얼마 전 ‘대구·경북 하나로융합교류회’의 19대 회장으로 선출되었다. ‘대구·경북 하나로융합교류회’는 업종이 다른 65개사의 제조업체들이 회원으로 가입한 대표이사 모임으로  B2B를 통해 경제활동의 다양한 정보를 교류하고 있으며 상호 봉사하고 융합하며 회원사 모두의 사업발전을 도모하고 있다. ‘대구·경북 하나로융합교류회’는 이 같은 성과를 인정받아 2017년도에는 대구·경북 최우수교류회로 선정되기도 하였다. 

‘대구·경북 하나로융합교류회’ 최재혁 회장은 “2007년 교류회에 입회한지 10년이 지났다. 매년 봉사하는 마음으로 지역경제 활성화와 일자리 창출 등 지역사회의 모범적인 단체로 거듭나고 있는 교류회의 회장으로 선출되어 막중한 책임감을 느끼고 있다.”라며 “구성원 서로가 생각하는 정책의 방향은 다를 수 있지만 융합이라는 상호목적을 성실히 수행하며 단단하고 강한, 내실 있는 단체를 만들어 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다. 
최근 ‘대구·경북 하나로융합교류회’는 어려운 경제상황에도 새로운 수익사업 창출을 위한 다양한 시도를 병행하고 있으며 ‘2018 중소기업융합대전’에 참여하는 등 발 빠른 행보를 이어가고 있다. (주)메가콤과 ‘대구·경북 하나로융합교류회’의 행보가 주목받는 이유이다.

Megacom is a renowned air compressor producer in Daegu. The company is famous for the industrial screw-type compressor that uses the backward fan with the Aero Dynamic Case Design that can maximize the performance efficiency. The user can easily clean the cooler even during the operation and can check and control the process on the screen. It is loaded with the auto Y-D inverting function in case the inverter goes wrong and the German technology-driven Air End realizes minimum noise but the highest flux efficiency. “I focused on excellent functions machine-wise but rational price market-wise. I don’t put up a grand slogan to run the business but encourage the staff and employees to do their best. It is our goal to grow Megacom as a global air compressor producer” says Choi Jae-hyuk who has devoted the last 30 years of his life to producing cutting edge air compressors. In recognition of his contribution to development of the regional economy, Choi was elected as the 19th president of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Hanaro Exchange Meeting. The organization has 65 regional companies in various types. The goal is to exchange information and to create synergy effect through B2B. The meeting was chosen as the best exchange organization in Deagu last year. “I joined the meeting in 2007 and now I’m the leader of the organization. I feel a great responsibility but I’m determined to work hard to promote the rights and interests of the organization by listening carefully to the opinions of each member and to bring consolidation.”
