“Jeong A-ram makes your wedding fun and exciting and blessing!”
Announcer Jeong A-ram

Recent wedding trend tells us that there is no officiator as shown in the recently held wedding ceremony of the famous Song couple, for example. The officiator’s obvious and tedious lecturing might ascribes to this trend. Instead, the young couples today invite their parents to read a personal letter. However, too much omission of the formality might lead to the loss of solemnness of the ceremony. This is the point where the talent of the ceremony host needs to shine. Announcer Jeong A-ram, who is also famous as a wedding host, says “In fact, the wedding without the officiator requires more preparation to keep up the exciting mood till the last. A wedding ceremony is not just a ceremony but once in a life time event. So the couple must be blessed while the guests also are entertained.” In order to realize it, Jeong points out the importance of open communication between the host and the couple. Jeong found her talent of standing on the stage with a mike when she was 13. It was only natural that she became a traffic and weather caster of a local radio before moving onto a freelancer announcer. She worked as a reporter at The MBC Pohang and ran a corner at The TBN while hosting various events of organizations including the Jangmiran Foundation. “There is gravity in what we speak. Delivering information requires gravity and one must be able to effectively communicate with the listeners.” Jeong says that she is an announcer who dreams without limitation and boundary. “I actually achieved my dream of being an announcer. But I’m dreaming of challenging for more in a way to upgrade myself and to deliver positive energy to more people.” It is only natural, in this respect, that she also gives especial lectures on dream for students at schools including Handong Global University, her Alma Mater. “I want to help students find their dream and encourage them to go for it with passion. This is the reason I don’t want to put down the mike for as long as I can stand on the stage. I feel the power rising from deep inside whenever I grab the mike and I would like to share it with as many people as I can.”
