“Have a healthy 2018 with organically handmade ‘hasuo’”
Lee Yeon-ok, CEO of Wilfordi Root Farm

Hasuo (wilfordi root in Korean) means “how come your hair’s back to black again?” The plant is known as one of the three miraculous medicines alongside wild ginseng and lycium that can make one live until 130. Hasuo, in particular, is known to be good for lowering cholesterol and preventing hardening of the arteries. Located in Yesan County, Wilfordi Root Farm is cultivating native hasuo by using germanium and sulfur germicide only. It sounds really hard that CEO Lee Yeon-ok herself cultivates the 4,958 square meter farm without using any chemical substance. Lee came to know the effect of hasuo that improved her cerebral infarction after the continuous intake for a year. She decided to cultivate this miraculous plant and moved her base to Yesan County where her mother and older brother live. The latter suffered from dry skin but it was cured by having the first cultivated hasuo for a certain period of time. She then started to think about easy ways to eat hasuo and soon introduced related products in various forms such as tea, pill, extract, liquor, bean paste, soy sauce and even soaps. Each product is offered at a rational price so that people can buy without a financial burden. The hasuo extract especially gives clean taste without sugar. According to CEO Lee, some products are only sold by reservation due to high volume of orders. Like she manages the farm herself, she also manages all the making processes which are done by hands only. In other words, the products are handmade and 100% organic. Those who used hasuo soap gave testimony that their skin became moisturized and smoother and even saw the hair growing effect. In fact, Lee used to wear a wig due to scanty hair but do not need it anymore since using the soap for a long time. It is notable that some of medicines designed to grow heights of children also contain hasuo as it is good for muscle, joints and bones. In order to see its effect, CEO Lee advises you to take hasuo at least for a year continuously. Lee in particular recommends you to try hasuo rice cake soup and hasuo grain syrup.
