대전광역시, 2017 대전미디어페스티벌 성황리에 마쳐
시민이 주인공인 미디어축제 ‘2017 대전미디어페스티벌’이 대전시청자미디어센터에서 개최됐다. 2017 대전미디어페스티벌은 권선택 대전시장, 허욱 방송통신위원회 부위원장 등이 참석한 가운데 개막했다. 대전시와 방송통신위원회가 공동 주최한 이번 행사는 중부권 중고교 학생들이 참가하는 학교뉴스제작경진대회 결선을 비롯해 스피치대전, 단편영화상영회, 방송인특강, 미디어체험 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됐다. 개막식에 맞춰 센터 1층 오픈스튜디오에서 열린 이번 페스티벌의 대표행사 ‘학교뉴스제작경진대회’ 결선에서는 대전지족고등학교가 영예의 대상을 차지했다. 또 최우수상(대전, 충남, 세종교육감상)은 유성여자고등학교, 천안여자고등학교, 두루중학교가 수상했고, 우수상은 대전만년중학교 등 6개 학교에 돌아갔다. 아울러 다큐멘터리 사전제작지원 프로그램 ‘피칭대전’을 통해 제작된 김경남·류승환의 ‘정류장’이 우수단편다큐 최우수상(대전광역시장상)을 수상했다. 이어 둘째 날에는 KBS ‘길에서 만난 과학’, MBC ‘오늘의 날씨’, TJB ‘당신의 한끼’ 등 프로그램의 제작자와 만나는 ‘미디어 방송인 특강’과 우수단편영화 상영회가 열렸다. 마지막 날에는 인기 예능프로그램 ‘1박 2일’과 드라마 ‘최고의 한방’을 연출한 유호진 PD가 들려주는 방송현장의 생생한 이야기 특강, 미디어골든벨, ‘스피치대전’ 소통왕 선발전, 어린이 미디어교실 등이 열렸다. 홍미애 센터장은 “올해는 미디어인들이 실력을 겨루고 활동을 펼치는 축제의 장으로 경연·강연·체험 등 다채로운 프로그램을 마련했다”고 말했다.

대전광역시, 창업(Start-UP) 양성과정 훈련생 모집
대전광역시(시장 권선택)는 기업수요 맞춤형 청년 일자리 제공을 위한 2017년 일취월장 123 청년인력양성사업의 일환으로 ‘창업(Start-UP) 프로젝트 매니저 양성과정’에 참여할 훈련생을 모집한다고 밝혔다. ‘창업(Start-UP) 프로젝트 매니저 양성과정’은 정부 일자리 창출 정책과 연계한 지역 특화 맞춤형 인재양성 사업으로, 4차 산업혁명시대 창업 기업의 체계적 성공 지원을 위한 훈련과정이다. 교육훈련 기관은 충남대학교로 기간은 2017년 11월 6일부터 2018년 2월 13일까지이며 인원은 30명이다. 신청은 공고일(2017. 9. 7.) 기준 만 18세 이상(고졸자는 만 15세 이상) 39세 이하로 대전시 관내에 주소를 둔 미취업자(졸업예정자 가능)를 대상으로 하며, 훈련개시일(2017. 11. 6.) 전까지 충남대학교로 직접 방문 접수하면 된다. 훈련기관은 1인당 월 80만 원 내외의 훈련비를, 훈련생은 월 30만 원(출석률 80% 이상 훈련생)의 수당을 지급받게 되며, 4개월의 훈련기간을 거쳐 창업 컨설팅 기업 등에 취업을 알선할 예정으로 인턴근무 및 정규직 전환 시 각각 3개월간 월 80만 원씩 채용기업에 지원하게 된다. 대전시 오규환 일자리경제과장은 “예비 창업기업에 대한 초기 컨설팅 및 창업 자금 지원 방법 등 다양한 프로그램 운영으로 창업 성공에 도움을 줄 수 있는 창업(Start-Up) 프로젝트 매니저 양성과정에 청년 미취업자의 적극적인 참여를 바란다”고 말했다. 한편, 2011년부터 일취월장 123 청년인력양성사업으로 1,140명이 수료해 926명이 취업했으며, 현재 6개 훈련기관에서 142명이 훈련 중이다.

Daejeon successfully holds 2017 Daejeon Media Festival
Daejeon Metropolitan City successfully held 2017 Daejeon Media Festival at The Daejeon Viewers Media Center. The city mayor Kwon Sun-taik and The Korea Communications Commission’s vice chairman Huh Wook attended the opening ceremony of the festival which ran various programs including the final of The School News Production Competition, The Speech Competition, The Short Film Festival and lectures on broadcasting and experience. Daejeon Jijok High School won the grand prize at The School News Production Competition and the excellent prizes went to Yuseong Women’s High School, Cheonan Women’s High School and Duru Middle School. The runner-up prizes went to 6 schools including Daejeon Manyon Middle School and the short documentary ‘Station’ made by Kim Gyeong-nam and Ryu Seung-hwan for ‘The Pitching Competition’ won the excellent prize (mayor’s prize). On the second day of the festival, producers of KBS ‘Science on the Road’, MBC ‘Today’s Weather’ and TJB ‘Your Meal’ gave lectures on media industry. On the last day, the famous producer Yoo Ho-jin (2 Days & 1 Night / Hit the Top) delivered a real story in broadcasting industry. The director of The Daejeon Viewers Media Center Hong Mi-ae said “This year, we gave more diversity in order to add excitement for the people in the media industry.”

Daejeon recruits trainees for Start-UP Project Managers
Daejeon announced to recruit trainees for Start-UP Project Managers. This training course is coincided with the government’s plan to foster industry specialists in preparation of the coming 4th Industrial Revolution. As the training body, Chungnam National University is to train 30 trainees between the period November 6 2017 and February 13 2018. You can apply if you are aged between 18 and 39 before November 6 this year by visiting the university. The training body is paid KRW 800,000 won per trainee and each trainee KRW 300,000 won if made more than 80% attendance. For those who succeeded securing a job including internship after the 4 month training, the employers are paid KRW 800,000 per month for the first three months. Daejeon City’s job division head Oh Gyu-hwan said “The Start-UP Project Managers is a proactive consulting and support program for startups and we encourage an active participation of unemployed young people.” The project is part of The 123 Youth Manpower Fostering Project in which 1,140 have finished the training and 926 secured a job. Currently, 142 are being trained in 6 training centers.
