세종형 일자리창출 아이디어 타운홀 미팅
세종특별자치시 이춘희 시장은 지난 달 14일 세종시청 4층 중정에서 ‘일자리창출 아이디어 타운홀 미팅’을 개최했다. 시는 이번 행사를 통해 일자리창출 정책에 대한 시민들의 의견을 청취하고 공감을 바탕으로 사업추진 환경을 조성해 나간다는 계획이다. 또, 타운홀 미팅에 참여한 시민들의 의견을 수렴해 시 차원에서 지원이 필요한 부분을 적극 반영하는 등 효율적인 일자리창출 방안을 수립해 나갈 방침이다. 이춘희 시장은 “현장의 목소리를 일자리창출 분야에도 적용하여 시민들이 공감할 수 있는 일자리 정책을 추진해 나갈 것”이라며 “오는 11월에는 시민과 지역 고용전문가 등의 의견을 기초로 ‘세종시 일자리창출 종합대책’을 발표할 예정”이라고 말했다. 한편, 이날 행사에서는 지난 7월 진행했던 일자리창출 정책 아이디어 공모전 당선작(10점)에 대한 시상식도 함께 진행됐다. 또한 세종시와 대전지방고용노동청이 주최로 지난 27일 정부세종컨벤션센터에서 열린 이번 채용박람회는 취업과 채용을 희망하는 모든 구직자 및 기업을 대상으로, 구직자에게는 다양한 취업 정보 및 취업 기회를, 구인 기업에는 필요 인력을 적기에 채용할 수 있는 만남의 장을 제공했다. 이춘희 세종시장은 “일자리 정보 및 취업을 통해 시민과 기업 모두가 만족할 수 있는 행복한 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다. 

세종시 ‘치매극복의 날’ 기념행사 개최
세종특별자치시 이춘희 시장은 제10회 치매극복의 날을 맞아 지난 달 19일 정부세종컨벤션센터 중연회장에서 치매 관리 전문가와 유관기관 종사자 및 치매가족 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 치매정책 관련 ‘타운홀미팅’을 진행했다. 이날 참석자들은 세종시 치매안심센터 운영과 치매환자 돌봄 및 치매정책 방향 등에 대해 열띤 토론과 함께 다양한 의견을 제시했다.
치매에 대한 인식개선과 치매예방 및 관리의 중요성을 알리기 위해 마련된 이날 기념행사에서는 치매극복에 관한 수기·포스터 공모전 시상과 치매예방 체험 프로그램이 진행됐다. 시 관계자는 “이번 기념행사에는 세종시립의원, 정신건강복지센터, 고혈압 당뇨센터, 건강보험관리공단, 세종경찰서 등 여러 기관이 참여했다”며 “치매에 대한 부정적 인식을 개선하고 치매극복에 시민 모두가 동참하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

로컬푸드 학교급식 튼튼밥상 레시피 경연대회 
세종특별자치시 이춘희 시장이 지난 달 23일 로컬푸드 직매장 싱싱장터에서 세종시교육청과 함께 ‘로컬푸드 학교급식 레피시 뽐내기 대회’를 개최했다. 로컬푸드로 만든 바른 먹거리로 학교급식 레시피를 개발하고, 로컬푸드의 수요처를 확대하기 위해 올해 처음 기획된 이번 행사는 학생과 학부모, 조리사, 영양(교)사 등이 3인 1조를 이뤄 경연을 펼쳤다. 특히, 이번 경연대회에서 선정된 레시피는 레시피북을 만들어 일선 학교에 배포하고, 내년부터 월 1회 이상 식단으로 편성해 학교급식에 반영될 예정이다. 또, 우수 학교를 선발해 로컬푸드 과일지원, 농업농촌 체험 등 다양한 혜택도 제공할 계획이다. 이춘희 시장은 “얼굴 있는 먹거리, 세종 로컬푸드를 아이들의 식단에 편성하는 것은 미래 시민인 아이들과 지역 농업인들 모두에게 큰 도움이 되는 일”이라며“도시와 농촌을 상생하게 만드는 다양한 로컬푸드 사업을 발굴하여 보급을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다. 한편, 시는 2019년 하반기까지 공공급식지원센터를 건립하고, 2020년에 본격 운영할 계획이다. 

Sejong holds a meeting for job creation
Sejong City mayor Lee Choon-hee presided over a meeting for job creation on September 14. The meeting was designed to gather citizen’s opinions and reflect in the policies. Lee said “The city will push forward policies which the citizens are positive of and will announce a comprehensive plan for job creation around November this year by gathering opinions from both citizens and professionals.” On the day of the meeting, Lee awarded prizes to the 10 winner ideas suggested for the job creation competition held last July. Also, the jab fair held by Sejong City and The Ministry of Employment and Labor Daejeon at the Sejong Government Convention Center on September 27 provided job information and matching services. 

Sejong holds a meeting for ‘Dementia Overcoming Day’
Sejong City held a meeting to celebrate The 10th Dementia Overcoming Day at the Sejong Government Convention Center on September 19 by inviting 100 officials and families of dementia patients. The participants of the meeting exchanged opinions on running dementia centers as well as policies and policy directions alongside the memoirs, posters and experience events. An official of the city said “Various related organizations participated in the meeting and the participants hoped that the meeting can contribute to increasing public awareness on dementia.”

Sejong holds ‘Local Food and School Meal Recipe Competition’
Sejong City and Sejong City Education Office held on September 23 ‘The Local Food and School Meal Recipe Competition’ at a local food direct store. The event is introduced this year to promote good recipe for school meal and local food and a number of teams consisted of a student, school parent and cook or nutritionist teacher compete with each other. The chosen recipe will be made into a book to distribute to schools and reflected in school meal at least once a month. The excellent schools also will be provided support of fresh fruits and experience programs. The city mayor Lee Choon-hee said “The promotion of local food can benefit both students and local farmers. We will keep promoting the distribution of our local food to more people.” Meanwhile, the city is planning to build a public meal support center by late 2019 starting its operation the next year.
