산청군, 제17회 산청한방약초축제 준비 상황 점검
제17회 산청한방약초축제를 앞두고 산청군이 축제 준비상황 점검에 나섰다. 산청군(군수 허기도)은 지난 28일 군청 소회의실에서 제17회 산청한방약초축제 성공 개최를 위해 준비상황을 점검하는 보고회를 가졌다. 
이날 보고회는 지난달 7일 중간보고회 이후 추진상황을 다시 확인하기 위해 마련됐으며, 단위행사별 담당부서장 30여명이 참석했다. 참석자들은 교통 및 주차 대책, 축제장 분위기 조성, 관람객 편의 대책 등을 중점 점검하는 시간을 가졌다. 허기도 군수는 “관광객이 만족하고 군민이 화합하는 축제가 될 수 있도록 준비에 만전을 기해달라”고 당부했다. 
올해 축제는 동의보감관, 항노화&아토피 체험관 등 몸과 마음도 건강해지는 체험거리를 선보이게 된다. 특히 한방으로 다스리는 아토피 치유의 특별한 체험관이 신설돼 아토피·면역력·피부관리·알레르기 등 전문가의 진료상담은 물론 항노화 상담·체험도 받을 수 있다. 한의원 체험 등이 가능한 한방촌거리, 축제장 내 소나무 숲 사이 구절초 꽃길을 걷는 구절초와 허준 순례길, 어린이를 위한 약초풀 이벤트장 등 특색 있는 즐길 거리가 가득하다. 
문화체육관광부 선정 최우수축제인 산청한방약초축제는 ‘건강힐링여행! 아토피치유의 특별한 만남’을 주제로 오는 9월 15일부터 9월 24일까지 10일간 힐링의 명소 산청동의보감촌에서 개최된다.

산청군, 대만 관광객 유치 팸투어 실시
산청군(군수 허기도)은 지난 8월 31일부터 9월 1일까지 대만(타이페이) 주요 여행사 관계자 초청 경남 관광 상품 개발을 위한 팸투어를 실시했다. 이번 팸투어에는 대만 현지 여행사 관계자 및 언론사, 국내 인바운드 여행사 관계자 등 20여 명이 참가했다. 이번 팸투어는 경남개발공사, 인근 시군과 연계해 중국 관광객 감소에 대응하고, 최근 급속히 증가하고 있는 대만 등 동남아시아 방한 관광객 유치 다변화를 꾀하기 위해 마련됐다. 
참가자들은 대한민국 웰니스관광 25선으로 선정된 동의보감촌을 방문해 한방 기(氣)체험과 한방약초버블체험, 배꼽왕뜸, 한방약초음식 체험 등항노화웰니스 관광을 테마로 현지답사를 실시했다. 또한 700여년 역사를 가진, 한국에서 가장 아름다운 마을 제1호 남사예담촌을 방문해 고가, 고목, 옛 담장, 전통놀이 등 한국 전통마을의 풍경과 아름다운 정취를 만끽했다. 
팸투어에 참가한 한 관계자는 "청정한 자연환경과 오랜 역사의 전통마을 등 산청만이 지닌 아름답고 이국적인 분위기가 인상 깊었다"며 "우수한 한방인프라를 활용한 항노화 웰니스 중심 체험 프로그램에 흥미를 느꼈다"고 소감을 밝혔다. 
산청군 관계자는 “이번 팸투어를 발판삼아 해외 관광객 유치 다변화를 위해 최근 급성장하고 있는 대만 등 동남아시아 관광시장을 적극 공략할 것”이라며 "맞춤형 관광 상품 및 항노화 웰니스 관광콘텐츠 홍보를 적극적으로 실시하겠다"고 말했다.

Sancheong County is checking on preparation for the 17th Sancheong Medicinal Herb Festival. The mayor Huh Ki-do held a checkup session on 28 last month at the county office after the mid-term briefing held on 7 the same month. 30 heads of related departments attended the session to check on parking, traffics, atmosphere and convenient facilities. “Make sure everything will be thoroughly checked to bring a great success to the festival” said Huh. 

The festival this year introduced Donguibogam Hall and Anti-aging & Atopy Experience Hall in which visitors can have counseling services on atopy, immunity, skin allergy and management and anti-aging. In addition, Korea Medicinal Street and Heojun Sullye-gil Road (pilgrim route) and medicinal herb ground will give differentiated experience. 

The Sancheong Medicinal Herb Festival has been chosen as the best festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and it is held from 15 to 24 September at Donguibogam Village under the slogan ‘Healthy healing trip! Special encountering for atopy healing’. 

 Sancheong invites tourists from Taiwan

Sancheong carried out a familiarization tour on 31 August to 1 September by inviting tourist agents of Taiwan in order to develop tourist products of South Gyeongsang Province. 20 local tourist agents and reporters joined the FAM tour and the county worked in cooperation with the Gyeongnam Development Corporation and neighbor cities and counties to diversify tourists over China. 

The invited visited Donguibogam Village to experience energy, moxa cautery, medicinal herbal food and anti-aging wellness. Then they moved to Namsa Yedamchon Village to see traditional Korean houses, old trees and walls, traditional plays and beautiful rural landscape. 

A visitor said “I was impressed by the beautiful landscape and traditional village. They look exotic. Anti-aging wellness also was interesting.” An official of the country said “We will use FAM tour as a foundation to invite tourists from Taiwan and South East Asia and we will also introduce customized tourist products and anti-aging wellness programs.”
