한편, 김 대표는 지난 21일 서울 워커힐호텔에서 열린 주식강연회에서 '2017 대한민국 가치경영대상'을 수상했다. 지난 5월 16일 서울 프레스센터에서 열린 '2017 대한민국 가치경영대상'은 대한민국의 우수/유망한 기업, 기관, 인물, 브랜드 등의 고객가치경영 경쟁력을 평가하기 위해 제정된 시상식이다. 이번 시상식에서는 서울특별시 용산구, 경상북도 문경시, 다일공동체 등 각 분야에서 뚜렷한 실적을 내고 있는 여러 단체들이 수상의 영광을 안았으며, 세계로TV는 올해로 5년연속 '주식컨설팅' 부문 대상을 수상하게 되었다.

한편 지난 28일 개최된 워커힐 강연회에서는 세계로TV가 후원하는 사회인 야구단이 당일 오전 경기를 마치고 강연장에 참석해 함께 자리한 회원들로부터 뜨거운 호응을 얻었다. '세계로TV 야구단' 관계자는 "김 대표님께서 저희를 항상 응원해주신 덕분에 힘을 많이 받고 있다. 후원이 시작된 작년부터 올해까지 리그 경기를 하면서 단 한 경기를 제외하고는 모두 승리했을 만큼 탄탄한 조직력을 갖춘 팀으로서, 세계로TV의 이름을 더욱 널리 알리기 위해 노력하겠다"라고 밝혔다. 김 대표는 현재 사회인 야구단, 사회인 축구단 등을 지원하며 아마추어 스포츠 진흥을 위한 활동에 직접 나서고 있다.
한편 김 대표는 이날 강연회에서 "우리나라의 경제발전 시기에 따라 1960년대에는 경공업이, 1070년대에는 중화학이, 1980년대에는 조립가공이 주식시장을 이끌었다고 한다면, 20세기 말인 1990년대부터는 IT 등 지식산업이 주식시장을 좌우하기 시작했다. 이러한 정보화 혁명은 2000년대 신성장산업과 2010년대 융합산업이 주목받는 계기를 마련했으며, 이러한 기조는 당분간 지속될 예정이다"라고 밝히며 세계로TV 회원들에게 주식시장의 '등대'가 되어주는 주식 전문가로서의 행보를 이어갈 것이라고 강조했다.

Famous for New Value Investment, Segero TV CEO Kim Won-ki at his free stock lecture at Standford Hotel Seoul emphasized the importance of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the ever expanding Asian market by saying “Who takes the initiative in the coming 4th Industrial Revolution decides a nation to move forward or to be left behind. China, for example, is taking the initiative in development of manless vehicles and aircrafts and has already drawn substantial results in the areas of wearables and fintech.” The hotel where Kim’s free lecture took place is located in Digital Media City and its history started 26 years ago in New York City. Rising with new ambition, Standford Hotel is pioneering markets in Asia in recognition of its potential. Kim predicted that approximately 4.4 billion populations in Asia would create a new consumer market as their power to buy is ever increasing. This means that the Asian market is likely to be the center of the global market sooner or later according to Kim. “Investors need to have an eye to see the companies with growth potential. My advice is to see the forest over the trees if you wish to make a success in the investment.”

32 years of expertise melted in New Value Investment 
Kim is most famous for New Value Investment, the whole of his 32 years of experience and knowhow in stock investment. It analyzes eight elements such as basic analysis, Elliott wave, greenville, dividend, materials, credits and dreams and improves the existing 'value investment' in order to create dividends and profits. He also wrote a number of best-selling books such as <$10m Stock Lesson>, <Catching up Stock Investment in 30 Days>, <Final Book on Stock>, Kyobo Books and Yes24's bestseller <People Who Made Fortune by New Value Investment> and the No.1 best-selling self-improvement book <Ulim>. However, Kim’s fame not only came from his expertise in stock investment but also from his generous heart. But receiving the award is not the first time for Kim as he actually has received it for 5 times in a row. Other notable winners of the ward this year include Yongsan District Seoul and Mungyeong City in the category of local government. “Recent trend shows that global companies tend to pour money into healthcare, life science, mobile and data which belong to the coming 4th Industrial Revolution. And in my point of view in the field of stock investment, I think my New Value Investment will certainly take part in leading the new paradigm of stock market in the coming age.”

Then the IT in the 90s controlled the stock market while the fusion and new growth industries are taking the center stage since 2000.
