CEO Gwon Yang-hee of Partycook
“Upgrade the class of your party with Partycook”

Excellent party planning found at Partycook
Party culture has been exclusive property of the western world. But it recently is immersing as a new trend among young Koreans today. This is because they feel the need of something new from just inviting people for the food they made. The new trend naturally is boosting up the catering industry which regarded as the flower of party. Introducing in this respect is Partycook. It was established in 2006, the time in which the term ‘party culture’ was non-existent in Korea. Back then itinerant buffet was the common practice if it was called a ‘party’. “I got this idea while travelling overseas and launched Partycook when back in Korea. Thankfully, my younger sister Kwon Ju-hee was a cook and I and she carried out an extensive research and preparation. This I think was the source of our success today” says CEO Gwon Yang-hee. The organizational skill and quality services of Partycook have already been praised by many and the company is regarded as one of the top in Korea today. It might be interesting to see its name in both big and small parties of celebrities home and abroad if you have a chance to be there. In recognition of the excellence it has brought to the Korean catering industry, Partycook received the National Customer Satisfaction Index twice in a row in 2013 and 14.

“Party is to be enjoyed but not laborious occasion”
From the planning to procedure to finish, Partycook’s excellent services are done at absolutely professionally. The high end of the food prepared by professional chefs with the enhancement done by food stylists is delicately and sophisticatedly set up on classic or trendy tables depending, of course, of the taste of the client. “Catering takes a lot of time and effort and attention to detail. In a way, it is really tiring but I feel really rewarded when my client comes to me and grabs my hands and says ‘we have had a splendid time thanks to you’.” Meanwhile, Partycook is running a ‘PADO’ lunch box division designed to serve small size parties and gatherings. The menus are prepared after a consulting and made on the day of the event and delivered to the site at the desired time or alternatively the client can pick it up at the store. “Because they are lunch boxes, you can use them according to your own purpose whether it is a picnic or a gift for others.’ The business idea of Partycook, however, did not stop here: ‘Gwon Ju Hee Cooking Class’ gives an opportunity for normal people to learn eye popping food and styling. Pushing forward the momentum further, Partycook is ambitiously preparing to open a restaurant in near future. One more thing to worth mentioning; Partycook has been supporting three children in need through the charity group Compassion’s 1:1 Child Rearing Program’. <Power Korea> sends a message of support.
