지난 2015년 9월에 설립된 법무법인 아크로가 모태인 법무법인 태평은 주사무소인 광주 지역의 구성원 변호사 2명, 순천분사무소의 구성원 변호사 1명 등 구성원 변호사 3명과 소속변호사 3명 등 총 6명의 변호사로 구성돼 법률 조언가의 영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 
송길용 대표변호사를 비롯해 대표변호사들은 광주·전남 지역에서 부장검사 등을 역임한 이후, 각 분야에서 전문성과 경험을 바탕으로 법무법인 태평을 설립하였다.

Nowadays, it is distinguishing to see the trend in the law firm field since many law offices are changing into law firm. This is because that shape is more capable for dealing with cases systematically and professionally. Last March, a law firm Taepyeong was established in Gwangju among the competition of big law firms in metropolitan cities and this is composed of experienced lawyers who worked for prosecution for a long time. CEO/lawyer Song expressed his sorry for those local companies and groups are very poor at laws while he is working at Taepyeong in Gwangju. “Compared to other law firms in metropolitan areas, Taepyeong is rather small and it is a fact, however I hope judicial work of local companies and groups would get better, personally.” If they get useful supports in advance by a professional lawyer, they would focus on their jobs more. And, I expect Gwangju is going to grow the competition of companies throughout advanced prevention, not by throwing the money to enterprisers and companies so that it would have better judicial setup than now.”
