김해시-대형유통업체, 지역상생협약 체결해
김해시와 지역 대형유통업체, 소상공인연합회가 지난 21일 지역공헌 확대와 상생발전을 위한 상생협약을 맺었다. 
이날 협약식에는 허성곤 김해시장을 비롯해 민병도 신세계백화점 김해점장, 서병진 이마트 김해점장, 정영석 홈플러스 김해점장, 홍진수 홈플러스 동김해점장, 한호대 롯데마트 김해점장, 강동훈 롯데마트 장유점장, 감도훈 롯데프리미엄아울렛 김해점장, 김철승 메가마트 김해점장 등 관내 대형유통업체 8곳의 점장과 양대복 김해시소상공인연합회 이사장이 참석했다. 
이번 협약으로 김해시는 대형유통업체와 소상공인 상생발전과 지역경제 활성화에 적극 노력할 예정이다. 대형유통업체는 또 지역인재 우선채용, 지역우수상품 상설매장 운영, 다양한 지역공헌사업을 추진한다. 
소상공인연합회는 다양한 자생력 확보사업을 추진하고 대형유통업체와 상호 협력을 통해 지역경제 활성화에 적극 노력한다. 이번 상생협약을 계기로 김해시는 올해 안에 세부적인 지역 기여도 방안을 마련할 예정이다. 허성곤 김해시장은 "이번 상생협약은 시와 함께 관내 대형유통업체 전체와 소상공인연합회가 참여해 지역공헌 실천의지를 다졌다는데 큰 의의가 있다"고 밝혔다. 

김해시, 도민체전 준비위원회 발대식 가져
경남 김해시는 이번 달 28일부터 5월 1일까지 시 일원에서 개최되는 제56회 경남도민체육대회를 앞두고 성공적인 도민체전을 위한 준비위원회 발대식을 지난 23일 시청 대회의실에서 가졌다. 준비위원회는 허성곤 김해시장을 위원장으로 하여 관계 유관기관과 사회단체장 등 534명으로 구성되어 있다. 
이날 발대식에서는 위촉장 전달, 개막식 동영상 상영, 준비상황 보고를 했으며, 이어 결의문 채택을 통해 도민체전기간 중 홍보활동과 시민참여 분위기 조성, 청렴·청결·친절 실천 등에 최선을 다할 것을 다짐했다. 
허성곤 시장은 “오늘 초청받은 준비위원님들 모두가 도민체전 홍보대사라는 사명감으로 성공적인 도민체전을 치르기 위해 역량을 결집해 달라”고 당부했다. 이어 “가야왕도 김해에서 하나되는 경남도민이라는 대회 모토(Motto)처럼 대화합체전의 축제분위기로 가야왕도 김해를 더욱 업그레이드 시키는 계기를 함께 만들자”고 밝혔다. 
한편, 이번 도민체육대회는 도내 18개 시·군 선수 및 임원 2만여 명 규모로 참가하며 경기종목은 모두 27개 종목으로 수영, 역도, 자전거를 제외한 24개 종목은 김해시에서 개최된다. 

Gimhae signs a business agreement
Gimhae City signed a business agreement with the Small Business Association and large supermarket chains in the region on 21 last month to strengthen social contribution and win-win business environment. The officials of related organizations including the mayor of the city and of 8 department and supermarket chains such as Shinsegae, Lotte, Homeplus and e-mart attended the agreement ceremony. The agreement promotes job creation, local speciality and social contribution projects in a way to activate regional economy. "It is meaningful that the agreement will not only strengthen the company's social contribution but also boosts regional economy through various effective programs and events" said Huh Sung-gon, the mayor of Gimhae.

Gimhae launches preparatory committee for Gyeongnam Sports Festival
Gimhae City has launched the preparatory committee on 23 last month at the city hall for the 56th Gyeongnam Sports Festival held from 28 April to 1 May this year. The committee is comprised of 543 heads of public and civil organizations with the mayor as the chairman. The progress of the preparation with opening video image were presented on the launching ceremony of the committee and the members adopted a written resolution to manage the festival in fairness, kindness and cleanliness. "I asked all of you to regard yourself as an honorary ambassador of the festival and therefore to do your very best to bring a success to the festival. Like its motto 'Together in Gimhae, the Kingdom of Gaya', we will upgrade the city a level above through the festival" said the mayor Huh Sung-gon. 20,000 players from 18 counties and cities are expected to participate in the total of 27 events of which 24, except swimming, weightlifting and cycling, are held within the city.
