'CARIND' takes you wherever you wish to go
"Turn your car as a camping car"
CARIND (CEO Jung Yang-suk)

Introducing high performing camping cars

Camping cars might reminds you of big rectangular cars. Yet some of car tuning specialists who have accumulated years of their knowhow and experience in the field gathered together to launch CARIND which is a system to reassemble a car fit for camping. Noticing the 5 million campers of all ages in Korea, CEO Jung Yang-suk of CARIND started to release reassembled camping cars from May last year with upgraded manufacturing, design, sales and customer services. The DS (Dream Space) series, for example, has bigger storage and the seats are adjustable to bed to accomodate 5 persons at night. The company obtained a certificate from the Korea Transportation Safety Authority and the premium doors of Hartal (Germany) guarantees safety while Carefree 3M Awning (US) makes a wide shade. The camping cars are also loaded with mosquito net, air-conditioner, LED lighting, insulated acrylic windows and blinds, clean hot and cold water tank, toilet and shower. All camping cars have one year warranty and you can install additional options including tinted windows, navigation, black box, wheeling and under coating, on your own taste for style. As campers tend to resell their car in 10 years time, CEO Jung plans to take it over to rent as he is confident in the camping cars he made.

Use of space and convenience captivate many hearts of campers

Thanks to the facilities loaded in most camping cars, some retirees in overseas countries tend to lead the rest of their life as minimal and simple as possible in a camping car by settling down all their life-long possessions. Jung pointed out the fact that the registered camping cars in Korea as of 2017 has reached to 6,000 from only 350 in 2007 and this means that the total package-type camping car market in Korea would see a rapid growth. For this, Jung is working on building effective layout, facilities and performance of camping cars ideal for at least 1 month stay or more and the models DS5 (5 passengers) and DS3 have already satisfied EURO 6 (exhaust gas regulation). Also, instead of using rear camera, Jung introduced an option for around-view camera. This of his innovation made him achieve a 3.3 billion won sales last year and Jung is targeting a 10 billion won sales this year with the system that each 3 specialists of total 23 of CARIND can make 6 camping cars continuously. For this, Jung is expanding the line by triple, turning the store in Seoul to a tuning store, while the store in Namyangju to a customer service center and display hall, in addition to the factory being built on a 3,239 square meter land in Maseok at the moment. Jung already has drawn a number of contracts at various fairs and expos and is pushing forward promotion of the cars by appearing or sponsoring TV programs and shows such as <Standard of the Successful>, <2 Days & 1 Night> and <Traveller, Gypsy Man>. Jung emphasizes on 'mind' than 'skill' to make a better result, better business and better company. This is the reason he intends to grow CARIND as the best company rather than No.1 company in the field. <Power Korea> sends a message of support.
