인천공항공사 부패방지 제도 ‘최우수’ 기관 선정
인천국제공항공사 정일영 사장이 부패 척결과 청렴도 향상을 위한 끊임없는 노력의 결과, 국민권익위원회가 시행하는 2016년도 부패방지 시책평가에서 최고등급인 ‘1등급’을 달성했다고 밝혔다. 이번 부패방지 시책평가는 국민권익위원회가 2015년 11월부터 작년 10월까지 1년간 총 266개 기관을 대상으로 시행하여, 평가 결과를 지난 19일 발표했다. 반부패 추진계획 수립, 청렴생태계 조성, 부패위험 제거, 청렴문화 정착, 청렴개선 효과, 반부패 수범사례 확산성과에 대한 평가를 통해 1등급부터 5등급까지의 등급이 주어졌다. 인천공항공사는 사장과 상임감사의 2인 3각 청렴행보에 직원들도 적극 동참하여, 솔선수범하는 청렴리더십을 통해 부패를 원천 차단하고 공항 전체로 청렴시스템을 확산시키고자 노력해왔다.

그 결과, 청렴을 단순한 반부패에 국한하지 않고 국민의 눈높이에 맞춘 서비스를 제공하는 ‘포괄적 청렴’의 개념으로 지속적으로 발전시켰다. 특히, 협력사 청렴문화 확산 대책을 마련하여 협력사의 서비스 수준 평가 시 청렴활동 실적에 높은 가중치를 부여함으로써 청렴에 대한 인식을 제고하여 국민권익위원회가 선정한 자율적 제도개선 대표 우수사례로 선정됐다. 이외에도 임대업무의 투명성 제고를 통한 입주자서비스의 획기적 개선, 인천공항 청탁금지법 특별 교육 등 청탁금지법에 대한 체계적 대응을 통해 3단계 공항건설 등 대형국책사업 수행 과정에서도 부패공직자 3년 연속 Zero를 달성하는 등 인천공항 청렴생태계 조성에 적극적으로 노력한 점이 높은 평가를 받은 것으로 분석된다. 인천공항공사 정일영 사장은 “국민의 기업인 인천공항에서 윤리경영은 지속가능한 성장과 발전을 위한 핵심요소이자 세계 최고의 공항기업으로 거듭나기 위한 초석”이라면서, “공사의 자체적인 윤리시스템을 발전시켜 나가고, 4만 여 공항종사자에게도 지속적으로 전파함으로써 인천공항이 글로벌 리딩공항으로 도약하는 근간을 다지겠다”고 말했다.

인천공항에 국내 최초 캡슐호텔 ‘다락 休’ 오픈
인천국제공항공사는 지난 달 20일 오후 인천공항 교통센터 1층에서 캡슐호텔 ‘다락 휴(休)’의 오픈 행사를 열고 본격적인 운영을 시작한다고 밝혔다. 캡슐호텔 ‘다락 휴(休)’는 작년 3월 인천공항공사가 국토교통부와 함께 마련한 ‘인천공항 경쟁력 강화방안’ 추진 과제의 하나로, 심야·새벽시간대 운항 확대에 따라 증가하는 장시간 대기 여객들의 편의 증진을 위해 개발됐다. 인천공항 교통센터 상업시설 운영사업자인 CJ푸드빌과 호텔전문 경영사인 워커힐호텔(SK네트웍스 워커힐)이 약 40억 원을 투자해 조성했으며, 일본 및 유럽공항에 설치되어 있는 유사 캡슐호텔을 연구하고 인천공항의 특성과 여객 수요를 고려하여, 최신 및 최고의 설비와 기술을 적용해 특별히 제작했다. 각 객실에는 고급 매트리스와 침구를 구비하여 편안한 휴식을 취할 수 있도록 하였으며, 개별 냉난방 시스템과 소음차단 시스템, 고감도 무선인터넷, 블루투스 스피커가 구비되어 있다.

특히, 도서관 수준의 정숙함을 느낄 수 있도록 소음 또한 40db 이하로 관리하여 단시간이라도 조용히 쉴 수 있는 안락하고 쾌적한 공간을 구현할 계획이다. 인천공항공사 정일영 사장은 “캡슐호텔 ‘다락 휴’는 심야와 새벽시간 항공편을 이용하는 여객뿐 아니라 환승대기시간을 편안히 보내고자 하는 환승객들에게 합리적인 가격으로 안락한 휴식을 제공함으로써 인천공항의 차별화된 새로운 명소로 자리매김할 것”이라고 밝혔다. 이어, “앞으로도 다양한 여객들의 필요사항을 파악해 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하고, ‘인천공항 경쟁력 강화방안’을 지속적으로 추진함으로써 세계 최고의 서비스 공항이자 글로벌 리딩공항의 위상을 굳히겠다”고 말했다.

Incheon Airport achieved 1st grade in corruption prevention measures
Incheon Airport received the 1st grade in corruption prevention measures from Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission last year. The commission screened 266 organizations for 1 year from November 2015 to October 2016 and announced the result on 19 last month. It classified the organizations into the 1st to 5th grades based on corruption prevention planning, environment, implementation, culture, improvement and result. With CEO Jeong Il-young as the chief inspector backed up by the three-legged prevention system and active participation of the staff, Incheon Airport achieved the 1st grade. The system raised the level of measures to comprehensive integrity methods over just preventive and gave more points to the  ideas and activities relating to corruption prevention while drawing voluntary participation. The airport also secured transparent administration and held training on related laws and achieved 0% corrupt officials for last 3 years. CEO Jeong said "As the airport belongs to the people, transparency, integrity and ethical management, from which we can build a foundation for the airport to go global, are very important."

Incheon Airport opens DARAKHYU
Incheon Airport announced on 20 last month to start to run DARAKHYU, a capsule hotel in the air traffic center on the first floor of the airport. The capsule hotel is part of 'Measures of Strengthening Competitiveness of Incheon Airport' carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The hotel targets the passengers arriving and departing early morning or late night. CJ Foodville and Walkerhill also invested 4 billion won and prior researchwa on capsule hotels in Japan and Europe were carried out. The hotel is loaded with luxury bedding, individual heating and cooling, sound proof (less than 40db), wireless internet and bluetooth. CEO Jeong said "We expect that passengers traveling early morning or late night will have an ultimate resting experience with luxury facilities yet at a competitive price. We will keep bringing up ideas and measures that can reflect passenger's wants and demands so the airport will secure its status as the best airport in the world especially in terms of passenger convenience."
