Taking a great leap forward as a global shoes company, NOITAVONNI (CEO Park Jeong-sook) successfully held a design showcase and business presentation on 2 last month at The K Hotel Seoul. KMK CEO Song Chang-geun, Hangang Holdings CEO Jung Jong-chae, applerind CEO Kim Yun-su and Wing’s Foot Korea CEO Kim Young-chun graced the occasion with their presence on the day among 700 renowned industrial officials and celebrities who wished to witness the advent of super power walking spring shoes.

I hope the NOITA’s value recycling system will give back its brand value to consumers and its super power walking spring shoes, known as health shoes by many, will also contribute to the health of mankind as a global brand” said KMK CEO Song in his congratulatory speech. NOITAVONNI CEO Park in response said that the developer Gwon Dong-hyeok and she were where they were today after many years of tears and patience and she felt really overwhelmed, adding that, the spring shoes would bring a new type of recreation and the company would grow into a global company through social contribution activities. The spring shoes took the center stage of the industry with its loaded cutting edge IoT technology that can check the balance of the body time to time and to measure the amount of exercise. 
Opening 300 stores by 2018
Opening the first antenna shop of NOITA next March, CEO Park announced that the company had readied all the necessary support programs and manuals to open 300 stores by 2018. The brand received a great response even before launching of the brand and 60 shoes specialists already have signed a contract to run a branch store. With its impending large scale marketing next year, an official of NOITA said “We will open several branch stores and show cases early next year and ‘Ten Ten Day (tentative)’, which will display spring shoes, in the latter half of the year to spread a new walking culture to the world.”

The elasticity and mechanism of spring shoes consume more calories 

Gwon, the developer of the shoes, initially designed the shoes for his mother, who suffered from pains in knees and waist caused by wrong walking posture, before spending 3 years of intensive research on the shoes. The shoes at first received an explosive response but it was inconvenient for his mother to actually wear and walk. Also, although the three springs on the shoes attracted attention with its pogo stick-like look but eventually failed in commercialization. Undaunted by this, Gwon spent the next 14 years in R&D and eventually introduced the current brand through numerous failures and mistakes. “You can easily see springs in our daily life. The elasticity and mechanism of spring has brought us many surprising changes especially to vehicles and beds. But I rather applied its benefits to shoes and thus born is the spring shoes” said Gwon. The spring shoes are loaded with Balance Modulation Principle that absorbs a shock and draws the ultimate condition by dispersing energy. They are also designed to maximize muscle movements and their elasticity and mechanism also consume more calories. The spring on the shoes can be replaced when the soles are worn out which means that we can wear the shoes semi-permanent. “I borrowed the idea from pogo stick and inline skates in 2002 for the shoes with which I completed the current spring shoes. The snail-like spring on the shoes is applied with stronger elasticity and it consumes triple times more calories than normal shoes. Also, the buffer spring principle responses according to the level of strength it gets and absorbs it as elastic energy to ease the shock and to give right body balance” said Gwon. Another advantage of the spring shoes is muscle strength; the returned energy from the spring disperses body energy which increases the movement of rarely used muscles in the body. Using a wearable device that can check the amount of exercise with the spring shoes is an additional pleasure.  

Correction specialist Noh Gun-wu joins the team

The second business presentation was held at the head office in Yangjae-dong, Seoul and Noh Gun-wu, the director of Sports Rehabilitation Institute of St. Mary’s Spine & Joint Hospital, who once helped rehabilitation of Kim Yuna, joined the NOITA’s training system course. Noh also is a SBS and KBS sports data analyst and helped rehabilitation of Beak Cha-seung, Kang Jung-ho, Lee Taek-geun and Hwang Jae-gyun. Noh has worked as a correction specialist for NOITA for 5 years and recently joined the NOITA’s training system course. He is scheduled to give a lecture on foot health, composition of spring shoes and their effect at the branch store training camp next January in Chungju. “With ‘store marketing system’ as the keyword, I will focus on SNS marketing and viral contents in my lecture so that the soon-to-be store owners can effectively sell the spring shoes” said Noh. With its goal to open 300 stores by 2018, the model S1 is made in Korea while S-air and Converse with the support from Indonesia. NOITA CEO Park said that she would lead the business where ‘we’ become the owners with the support of partner companies. (Currently, the design and production of S-air is supported by KMK Global Sports Group and the NOITA Walking Wear by applerind.) CEO Park said that she would use viral marketing to the fullest from next year in order to build a global network. NOITA’s super power walking spring shoes, therefore, are expected to make its presence one step closer to consumers through PPL and SNS.
