Innovation of cleaning comes from advanced equipment and system
CEO Lee Eung-jun of Clean World

Ulsan’s best cleaning services provided by Clean World

Starting the business 9 years ago, Clean World has grown to be one of the best cleaning services in Ulsan. From small studio flat to large commercial buildings, Clean World’s expertise in cleaning has wowed many of its clients in the city. CEO Lee recently has moved the head office to a larger place (363 square meters) and currently runs 6 teams consisting of 20 members respectively with addition 10 part timers. The teams take up to average 430 contracts a year and each team plays for each specialized area according to its purpose of the building. “We take up most of cleaning contracts for residence and buildings in the region” says Lee.
Lee ascribes the success of Clean World to its comprehensive operating system. “I saw all walks of life engaged in the business when I first stepped into the field as cleaning itself didn’t require any experience or qualification like many other jobs. The problem was that most of them earned far less than the amount of physical labor they had to pour in. So I became to feel the need to introduce an efficient and effective system to the industry” looked back Lee. As the first move, Lee introduced a uniform to give a sense of belonging and responsibility. Also attached on the waist part of the uniform is a tool box to increase work efficiency. But above all, Kim’s making a cleaning manual book made it the whole process comprehensive and systemized. As a result, the staff of Clean World are not only equipped with the techniques needed for the job but also professional mind. The low turnover of staff, for this reason, is not a surprise also.

Introducing cutting edge cleaning equipment
“Everybody can do dusting and sweeping. But professional cleaners know what detergents and tools to use and start from where to finish with what. In other words, we, Clean World, do not just clean on the order of our clients but we aim to achieve perfection of our job and wow each of our clients who often get surprised by the phytoncide smell the moment they step into their own place after our services” explains Lee. The differentiated cleaning services of Clean World, for this reason, are attracting a number of calls from those who are planning of starting a business.

CEO Lee recently signed a business agreement with Ulsan US Soft and is giving special lectures on professional cleaning services to self-support centers or startuppers in the region. Meanwhile, Lee pays particular attention to staff welfare. In order to reduce the workload of the staff, Lee is planning to introduce cutting edge cleaning equipment costing 7 million won to 30 million per unit from Karcher, a German cleaning equipment maker. “We recently have seen an increase in number of large scale building or factory cleaning and this calls our need to introduce more specialized cleaning equipment from trustable companies. Clean World also is run on ‘5 work day’ to maximize the staff’s work efficiency and top performers get rewarded and we make a regular overseas trip. If staff is not happy, how can our clients expect professional services from us?” says Lee. When asked a future plan, Lee said “I want to build a cleaning mall where people can buy necessary cleaning tools and equipment and we provide professional advice and services.”
