Introducing a new type of Korean windows and doors
CEO Kim Yong-man of Eco Hanok
Eco-friendly passive house leads modern Korean house trend

A recent research tells that 42% of people prefer Korean house to apartment (29%) as an ideal family residence. Experts ascribe it to the charm and comfort Korean houses can give over concrete-driven modern buildings. The only drawback of living in a Korean house is that the dwellers need to endure inconvenience. Wooden windows and doors in particular often get bent out of shape which subsequently causes poor insulation especially in winter. If you are one of those experiencing the case, you can find a solution at ‘hybrid Korean windows and doors’ of Eco Hanok, a company specialized in Korean house insulation. CEO Kim found a great beauty of Korean houses 10 years ago and has devoted his passion to designing and improving Korean houses ever since. “Korean windows and doors have been developed in three types: traditional, double sashed and Korean system windows. Double sashed for example has a problem to go against the beauty of traditional value while system windows have not yet wholly improved the bent issues which make it hard to be commercialized as a result” explains Kim.

Korea’s first next generation Korean windows and doors
CEO Kim improved these drawbacks and developed Korea’s first patented next generation windows and doors called ‘hybrid Korean windows and doors’ by using aluminum and wood. They have excellent insulation, prevent dew condensation and the bent, and you can also save energy bills. They are doubled the durability than normal ones and provided as a pair or more. Excellent after sale services and one-stop service also cannot be missed. “Government’s revised strict regulation on insulation encouraged more constructors to use our hybrid Korean windows and doors and we are expecting a promising future in our business” says Kim. Like we all know, traditional Korean houses provide us a beautiful and sensitive living space. And technologies today have significantly improved inconvenience. The more modernized Korean houses, the more characters that can impress foreign visitors. “It is our main focus to make convenient Korean houses that go well with buildings in cities and the life patterns of busy modern people. We will keep doing our passionate R&D to popularize Korean houses” determined Kim and his staff.
