박근혜 대통령, 2016 A Farm Show-창농귀농 박람회 개막식 참석
박근혜 대통령은 지난 26일 오후 서울시 서초구 aT센터에서 열린 ‘2016 A Farm Show-창농귀농 박람회’ 개막식에 참석해 축하를 전하고 전시관을 참관했다. 박 대통령은 개막식에서 과거 우리 농촌은 ‘할 수 있다’는 정신 혁명을 일으킨 새마을운동의 중심이었다며, 다시 한 번 ‘할 수 있다’는 자신감과 도전정신으로 농업의 6차 산업화와 미래 산업화를 이뤄낸다면 우리 농업과 농촌의 어려움을 이겨내고 더 큰 도약의 미래로 나아갈 수 있다고 강조했다.

또 농업에 ICT와 생명공학 기술을 융복합해 생산성과 품질을 높이는 첨단기술 농업을 실현해야 한다며, 농산물 생산 단계의 스마트화를 넘어 저장시설 자동화와 가공과 포장, 소비자 판매에 이르기까지 전 과정을 스마트화해 나가는 노력이 필요하다고 밝혔다. 나아가 농업에 생명공학 기술을 접목해 바이오 식품과 의약품을 비롯한 미래 고부가가치 생명 산업의 주역으로 키워나가야 하며, 창의적인 아이디어를 가진 젊은이들이 마음껏 도전할 수 있는 새롭고 건강한 창농 생태계를 만들어야 한다고 말했다.

박 대통령은 이를 위해 정부는 다양한 농업 분야 창업을 원스톱으로 지원하는 농식품 벤처 창업지원 특화센터를 더욱 확대하고, 벤처창업 친화적인 금융 환경도 조성해 나가겠다고 밝혔다. 이어 저소득 문제를 극복하고 농촌경제를 활성화시키기 위해 정부는 과감한 규제개선으로 현장의 애로사항을 해소해 농업의 6차 산업화를 적극 지원하겠다고 전했다.

박근혜 대통령은 26일 오전 한양대학교 서울 캠퍼스에서 열린 ‘2016 창조경제혁신센터 페스티벌’ 개막식에 참석해 전국 17개 지역 혁신센터 관계자들을 격려했다. 박 대통령은 먼저 개막식 격려사를 통해 정부의 창조경제 실현을 위한 대표적인 플랫폼으로 자리 잡은 혁신센터 성과창출에 기여해 온 혁신센터와 지자체 관계자, 중소·벤처기업인과 산학연 관계자 등의 노고에 감사의 뜻을 표했다.

이어 지금 우리는 하루라도 빨리 창조경제의 패러다임을 토대로 글로벌 선도 국가의 길로 나서야 한다며, 이를 위해선 창의적 아이디어를 민첩하게 사업화해서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 제품과 서비스를 출시하는 스타트업의 역할을 더욱 키워나가야 한다고 밝혔다. 또 각 지역의 창업 생태계를 활성화해 지역 발전이 국가 발전으로 이어지는 선순환 구조를 만들어야 한다고 강조했다.

박 대통령은 마지막으로 우리가 4차 산업혁명의 선도국가가 되겠다는 비전도 패배주의적 사고에 사로잡히면 불가능하겠지만 우리의 저력을 믿고 도전한다면 반드시 이루어낼 수 있다며, 정부는 창조경제혁신센터가 지속가능한 창조경제 플랫폼으로 뿌리내리도록 예산 확충과 지원 기업 인센티브 확대 등 지원 기반을 계속 확충해 나가겠다고 밝혔다. 박근혜 대통령은 개막식에서 2016 창업경진대회 수상자와 혁신센터 공헌자를 포상하고, 창업경진대회 수상작 전시와 혁신센터 보육기업의 채용현장, 혁신센터 성과부스를 참관하고, 스타트업 행복나눔 기부행사에도 참여했다.

President Park attended opening ceremony of 2016 A Farm Show held at aT Center Seocho District on 26 August. Park said in her opening speech that the New Village Movement contributed to economic development of Korea in the 60s through 70s and 80s and we could turn Korean agriculture to the 6th industry by combining ICT and life science with agriculture. Park continued “This will increase productivity and quality of products and bring cutting edge agricultural processing technologies from production to packaging. Also, life science will make it possible to produce high value added bio food and medicine.” Park added that the government would expand one-stop startup support relating to agriculture through startup support centers and improve the current regulation so that farmers could more focus on production over paper works. 

Park attends 2016 Creative Economy Innovation Center Festival
President Park attended 2016 Creative Economy Innovation Center Festival held at Hanyang University (Seoul) on 26 August and encouraged officials of the 17 centers nationwide. Park said in her opening speech “I would like to show my gratitude to those who devoted to creating substantial fruits through the centers. Not complacent with the results, we must further raise capabilities and global competitiveness of Korean startups so that each regional economic development could be continued in line of the national development. As for our part, the government will keep increasing the level of support both in administration and finance as well as incentives with the goal to make Korea as a leading country of the 4th industrial revolution.” Park rewarded contributors of the centers and the winners of 2016 Startup Competition and toured the displays of winning products, job interviews and achievement booth and participated a startup donation event.
