발상의 역발상이 불러일으킨 결과,

이미 알려진 바대로 ‘슈퍼파워워킹 스프링슈즈’는 포고스틱(스카이콩콩)과 인라인스케이트를 결합하는 다소 엉뚱한 발상에서부터 시작되었다. 현대의 웰빙시대에 남녀노소 누구나 건강한 사람으로 영위할 수 있는 아이템을 고민하던 중, 우연히 보게 된 스카이콩콩으로부터 아이디어를 착안한 것이다. “아이들이 스카이콩콩을 통해 즐겁게 운동하는 모습에서 성인들의 비만과 노인들의 관절 노후에 대한 해결책을 발견하게 되었습니다. 자그마했던 시작이 꾸준한 연구개발을 통해 올바른 걸음걸이와 자세교정을 위한 신발이자 운동기구로 재탄생하게 된 것이죠.” 우연한 출발이었지만 꽤 혁신적인 발상이었다. 

슈퍼파워워킹 스프링슈즈에 결합된 스프링은 기본적으로 도보 시, 충격을 흡수하여 관절을 보호할 수 있도록 디자인되어 있으며 체형의 밸런스를 잡기 위해 끊임없이 근육을 사용할 수 있게 돼, 결과적으로 자연스럽고도 올곧은 자세가 나올 수 있도록 해주는 것이다. 권 개발자는 이를 ‘뒤집어 보면 가능한 것들’이라며 ‘발상의 역발상’ 자체가 노이타보니 브랜드를 탄생시킨 원동력이라고 소개했다.

NOITAVONNI’s spring shoes are already on sales in FootLocker Myeong-dong, Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo and Lotte Outlet Seoul Station with its highly praised function to help correct body shape and muscular walking. New possibility in the power walking shoes market
Famous for designing air-spring footwear, developer Gwon Dong-hyeok of Noitavonni said “I have focused on Korean and local footwear companies in Indonesia. As the third largest footwear production country in the world, Indonesia is rising as a new economic powerhouse in Asia with a population of 250 million. Taking this business tie-up with KMK as a great opportunity, we will introduce customized power walking spring shoes soon.” Gwon has admired excellent design, manufacturing technology and management system of KMK for a long time and he eventually has achieved his goal to work in partnership with KMK. And Noitavonni, launched early this year, is the result of this business tie-up and it is highly expected to grow as a global brand like Nike and Adidas. 

Power walking spring shoes, born by inversion of an idea
Developer Gwon combined pogo sticks and inline skates to create power walking spring shoes. He explains “An idea flashed through my mind when I saw children riding pogo stick. I thought that might give solution to people with diabetes and arthritis. I launched research mainly focusing on correcting gait and pose and eventually developed power walking spring shoes.” The spring is designed to absorb the impact occurred when walking to protect joints and encourages muscle movement to correct gait and pose. Gwon continues “Inverting the idea was the driving force of creating Noitavonni. People nowadays guess whether a person is healthy by observing external beauty. It is Noitavonni’s goal to turn functional value to esthetic one to give images of ‘healthily beautiful’. In other words, it is physical change in pose but sophistication in design.” Gwon’s 10 years of trials and errors for developing innovative shoes have now become a great asset of Noitavonni.

and MC Kim Ha-jung as honorary ambassadors 
With the ambition to promote the shoes as premium global brand, NOITAVONNI appointed popera singerJung Se-hun and MC Kim Ha-jung as honorary ambassadors. Jung is a talented singer covering various genres from aria to musical. He won‘Voice of Angel for the World’ from the Caruso Foundation New York in 2005 and successfully held an invitation solo concert at La Madeleine, Paris as the first Asian in 2008. MC Kim Ha-jung on the other hand is famous for hosting Pod Cast’s ‘Kim Ha Jung’s Fortune Telling Show’ in 2014 and CNM’s ‘Take Care of Going to Work’ in 2015. Park says “I’m pleased to appoint the two talented persons as our honorary ambassadors and together we will spread excellence of our innovative spring shoes to the world.” Recently, there has been an increasing demand for the shoes on the company’s website (http://www.noi123.com) from Korea, China, Japan and the US and CEO Park said that she would pursue every avenue to promote Super Power Walking Spring Shoes to the world. Meanwhile, NOITAVONNI is planning to release S-Air Spring Shoes within the year. 

Maximizing synergy effect through close communication and collaboration
Starting with the 15th World Korean Business Convention this year, Gwon is opening ‘Noitavonni 101 Day’ and ‘Noita Launching Show’ in October. Also, designers of KMK will be working together with Gwon to introduce more innovative designs from late this year. On the business tie-up ceremony, CEO Park Jeong-sook of Noitavonni said “We targeted sensible women in their twenties with our premium brand principle ‘value, quality and service’. We are confident that Noitavonni will appeal to them with healthy function, calorie consumption and design. With close cooperation with KMK, we will surely create shoes that are not only excellent in functions and design but also in emotion and story they can deliver.”
