삼성전자, ‘S 아카데미 로드쇼’ 개최
삼성전자가 삼성동 코엑스 메가박스 앞에서 ‘S 아카데미 로드쇼’를 진행한다. ‘S 아카데미 로드쇼’는 신학기를 맞아 삼성전자의 최신 IT 제품을 직접 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 대학생들이 즐겨 찾는 대형 복합쇼핑몰에서 열리는 체험 행사다. 이번 로드쇼에서 삼성전자는 방문객들에게 최신 6세대 인텔 코어 프로세서가 탑재된 ‘노트북 9 메탈’을 비롯해 ‘갤럭시 탭프로 S’, 삼성 커브드 모니터 인기 모델 SE590C, 알뜰 토너 프린터 신제품 SL-C436 등 신학기에 필요한 다양한 IT 제품들을 직접 사용해 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 또 ‘노트북 9 메탈’의 180도 펼쳐지는 힌지와 컨설팅모드를 흥미롭게 보여주기 위해 캐리커처 이벤트를 준비했으며, 자신의 휴대폰에 있는 사진을 프린터로 무선 출력하는 행사도 마련했다.

이 밖에도 삼성전자는 로드쇼 행사장 내에 설치된 프로모션 배너를 사진 찍어 인근 삼성전자 매장에서 PC 구매 시 보여주면 외장하드를 사은품으로 증정한다. 지난 주말 타임스퀘어 아트리움에서 진행된 ‘S 아카데미 로드쇼’는 쇼핑몰을 찾은 방문객들로부터 좋은 반응을 얻었으며, 이 행사는 이번 주말까지 합해 총 2회 진행될 예정이다. 삼성전자 관계자는 “이번 ‘S 아카데미 로드쇼’는 단순히 제품을 보는 데에 그치지 않고, 소비자들이 재미와 정보를 동시에 얻을 수 있는 유용하고 즐거운 기회를 마련하고자 준비했다”고 말했다. 
한편 삼성전자는 오는 3월 31일까지 올해로 21회째를 맞은 삼성전자의 대표 신학기 프로모션인 ‘S 아카데미’를 진행해 최신 IT 제품을 구매하는 고객들에게 풍성한 사은품을 증정한다. 

삼성전자, 핫블라스트 탑재한 스마트오븐 신제품 출시
삼성전자가 조리실 상단에서 고른 열풍이 쏟아 내리는 ‘핫블라스트(HotBlast™)’ 기술을 적용한 ‘삼성 스마트오븐’ 32L 신제품을 출시했다. 삼성전자는 지난해 9월 혁신적인 가열 기술인 ‘핫블라스트(직화열풍)’를 적용한 35L 대용량 제품을 출시한 후 사용자들의 높은 만족도와 뜨거운 반응에 힘입어 콤팩트 디자인과 세련된 스타일을 가미한 32L 제품을 새롭게 선보였다. ‘핫블라스트’는 조리실 내부 상단에 위치한 에어홀(Air Hole)에서 음식물로 고르게 쏟아지는 직화 열풍을 이용해 조리 시간은 최대 50%까지 단축하고, 직화 요리방식으로 겉은 바삭하고 속은 촉촉한 식감을 살려 음식의 풍미를 더하는 ‘삼성 스마트오븐’만의 가열 기술이다. ‘삼성 스마트오븐’ 32L 신제품은 감각적이고 모던한 디자인에 직선미와 곡선미가 조화된 메탈 핸들을 적용해 세련된 스타일을 완성하고, 제품이 차지하는 공간은 적게 하면서도 라지 사이즈 피자도 들어갈 수 있는 넉넉한 내부 조리 공간으로 공간 효율성을 한층 높였다.

99.9% 항균력과 높은 내구성을 갖춘 세라믹 조리실 내부에는 더욱 넓어진 와이드 그릴과 지름 345mm의 회전판이 적용되어 부피가 큰 음식이나 한 번에 많은 양을 요리를 할 때 음식물 속까지 골고루 익힐 수 있다. 또한 기름 없이 바삭하고 건강한 튀김 요리가 가능한 ‘웰빙 튀김’ 기능이 가능하며, ‘핫블라스트’ 전용 요리 20가지를 포함해 총 70가지의 자동조리 기능으로 버튼만 누르면 베이킹에서 구이, 간식, 발효 등 다양한 요리를 간편하게 완성할 수 있다. 삼성전자 생활가전사업부 박재순 부사장은 “삼성의 독보적 ‘핫블라스트’ 기술을 적용한 스마트오븐은 뛰어난 조리 성능과 다양한 특화 기능으로 소비자 만족도가 높은 제품”이라며, “소비자를 배려한 혁신적인 가전제품을 꾸준히 개발해 건강하고 즐거운 식생활에 기여하는데 앞장서겠다”고 말했다. 

Samsung to hold 'S Academy Road Show’
Samsung Electronics plans to hold 'S Academy Road Show' at COEX in order to provide opportunities for university students to experience the new IT products of Samsung. The new products include 'Notebook 9 Metal' loaded with 6th Generation Intel Core Processor, 'Galaxy Tap Pro S', 'Samsung Curved Monitor SE590C' and economical toner printer 'SL-C436'. Samsung will also arrange a caricature event to demonstrate the hinge & consulting mode of the 180 degree rotating screen of Notebook 9 Metal. Students can have an experience of printing the photos in their smart phone and if you take a photo of promotional banners in the show to present when buying a PC, you can also get a free external hard drive. The show held at Times Square in Yeongdeungpo District last week received a good response and Samsung plans to hold the show two more times. An official of Samsung said "The fun part of the show is that consumers can actually experience our new IT products over just seeing them." This year marks the 21st show and it will last until the end of March at COEX.

Samsung releases HotBlast-loaded Smart Oven  
Samsung Electronics released 'Samsung Smart Oven 32L' loaded with HotBlast™ technology. This new product is a respond to consumers' explosive response to HotBlast-loaded large capacity Smart Oven 35L released in September last year. The HotBlast™ technology reduced the cooking times up to 50% by using the direct and even heat which comes from Air Hole attached on the ceiling of the oven. The heat makes food more crispy outside and juicy inside. Smart Oven 32L is applied with sensual and modern design and the shape of the metal handle is emphasized with harmony between straight line and curved line. Another advantage is that it takes less space to install while a large size pizza can be nicely placed inside which is made of ceramic. The oven kills 99.9% bacteria and the wider grill and the 345mm (diameter) rotating plate enable us to cook a big or large amount of food with even spread of the heat. You can fry food without oil and make 70 kinds of menus from baking, grill, snack to fermented by just pressing the automatic cooking button.
