전경련, 사법연수생 경제교육 시행
전국경제인연합회(이하 전경련)가 1월 4일(월)부터 15일(금)까지 10일간 제46기 사법연수생 24명을 대상으로 ‘기업 바로 알기’라는 주제로 경제교육을 진행했다. 타 전문분야 실무수습기관 32개 기관에 평균 7명씩 신청한 것에 비해 3배가 넘는 학생들이 전경련 경제교육 프로그램에 신청한 것으로 나타났다. 전경련은 지난 2004년부터 사법연수원의 ‘전문분야 실무수습 기관’으로서 사법연수생에게 경제교육을 시행해오고 있다.

이번 교육은 사법연수생이 기업의 목소리를 생생하게 들을 수 있는 프로그램들로 구성되었다. 특히 예비 법조인을 위해 기업 법무팀 임원들이 강사로 나섰다. 삼성전자의 박정호 상무, LG전자의 이종상 부사장이 ‘기업 법무팀 바로 알기’라는 주제로 강연한다. 교육 5일차에는 기아자동차 화성공장과 아모레퍼시픽 스토리가든을 방문하여 실제 기업 현장을 살펴보았다.

사법연수생에게 법에 대한 새로운 관점을 제시하는 강연도 준비되었다. 김정호 연세대 특임교수는 ‘법, 경제를 만나다’를 통해 연수생들에게 법 해석을 법리가 아닌 시장경제적 관점에서 하는 방법을 강연했다. 이외에도 미래 법조인으로서 갖춰야할 리더십, 올바른 역사관, 안보관, 스피치 등의 강연을 진행했다.

전경련 이용우 상무는 “사법연수원에서 법리 위주의 교육, 규제주의적 관점에서 교육을 받은 사법연수생이 기업의 현실을 생생하게 이해할 수 있도록 프로그램을 마련했다”며 “사법연수생들이 올바른 경제관과 기업관을 갖는데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

전경련, 全軍 정훈장교의 절반 수준인 640명 대상 경제 교육
전국경제인연합회(이하 전경련)가 국방부와 공동으로 전군 정훈장교 640명을 대상으로 시장경제와 안보관 교육을 진행한다. 이는 전년 대비 240명 늘어난 것으로 전군 정훈장교의 절반 수준에 달한다. 1월 11일(월)부터 3월 16일(수)까지 총 8회로 나누어 개최되는 이번 교육은 일선 부대에서 정훈 교육을 담당하고 있는 장성, 영관, 위관급 장교들이 참석했다.

전경련과 국방부는 이번 교육을 통해 군 정신전력 증강의 핵심 주체인 정훈장교의 역량 강화를 추진한다. 이를 위해 ‘자유민주주의의 가치’, ‘헌법의 이념과 가치’ 등 국가·안보관 교육뿐 아니라 ‘경제성장과 군의 역할’, ‘시장경제의 이해’ 등 올바른 경제·기업관을 강화하는 교육 프로그램을 마련하였다.

전경련 이용우 상무는 “금번 교육을 통하여 전군 정훈장교의 절반가량을 교육하게 되어 기쁘다”면서 “교육 내용이 일선 부대에서 공유되어 올바른 경제관이 군 전반에 확산될 수 있도록 정훈장교들께서 힘써주시기 바란다”고 전했다.

전경련은 정훈장교 대상 경제교육을 지난 2011년부터 시행해오고 있다. 이 외에도 차세대 군 리더인 공군사관생도를 대상으로 경제교육을 진행하는 등 군의 올바른 경제·기업관 확립을 위한 사업을 활발히 진행하고 있다.

KFI holds economic education for judicial apprentices
KFI (The Federation of Korean Industries) held an economic education for 24 of the 46th judicial apprentices under the subject of 'Knowing About Companies and Business' for 10 days from 4 to 15 January. As a practical training institute, KFI has carried out economic education for judicial apprentices since 2004. Director Park Jeong-ho of Samsung Electronics and Vice Chairman Lee Jeong-sang of LG Electronics gave a lecture on 'Knowing About Company's Legal Affairs Team'. On the 5th day of the education, the apprentices had a tour of Kia Motors Hwaseong factory and Amore Pacific's Story Garden. Prof. Kim Jeong-ho of Yonsei University gave a lecture on 'Law Meets Economy', and explained law in the economical point of view, as well as on leadership, view of history, security and speech. Director Lee Yong-woo of KFI said "The focus of our programmes is on approaching law in the economical point of view over law itself as a regulation and restriction. We hope this will help judicial apprentices to have a wider perspective about law in relation with economy.“

KFI provides economic education for 640 troop information and education officers
KFI, with the Ministry of National Defense, started an economic and security education for 640 troop information and education officers (TI&E officer). More than half of the whole TI&E officers, with 240 more officers on last year, attended the education. Starting from 11 January, KFI will run the programme 8 times until 16 March in the hope of strengthening the officers' abilities in spiritual military force. The programme includes 'The Value of Liberal Democracy', 'Ideology and The Value of Constitution', 'Economic Growth and The Role of Army' and 'Understanding Market Economy'. Director Lee Yong-woo of KFI said "I'm pleased to provide education for more than half of the whole IT&E officers this year. I sincerely hope that our programme will help them spread the right information on economy in relation with troop information to the Korean Army." Meanwhile, KFI has carried out this education since 2011 and is also providing the education for Air Force cadets.
