Suwon, Icheon, Yeongcheon and Jinan receive a prize
Top contributors to culture

Suwon (Mayor Yeom Tae-young) set up identification of the city by combining tradition and modernity. Suwon Kalbi (rib) also played an important role as a famous restaurant run for decades in the city. The city appointed 2016 as 'Suwon Visit Year' and will carry out various programmes. Icheon (Mayor Joh Byung-don) is most famous for Icheon Rice with 500,000 annual visitors to the city. Icheon also boasts the best horse-specialized hospital in Korea and has 10 horse riding courses and was chosen as the third horse specialized city by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in June last year. Yeongcheon (Mayor Kim Young-suk) with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held '2015 Korea Cultural Month' ceremony under the theme of 'Korean Delegation and Masangjae' for the first time in the province in October last year. Jinan (Mayor Han Dong-soo) is the mecca of red ginseng thanks to its sandy soil that prevents drainage. The county takes up 35% of red ginseng production in the nation. Jinan appointed special zones for red ginseng, Korean medicine and atopy care in December 2011 and opened Atopy Cluster Center in Jeongcheon-myeon in May 2012. Cheongsong (Mayor Hangro Lee) has focused on developing cultural contents and tourist products under the slogan 'Resident-centered Creative Services' and 'Together Happy Smile Cheongsong'. The county also held Cheongsong Cultural Festival and introduced a unique programme 'Reproduction of Dohobu March' and built Gaekju Literary House for famous local author Kim Joo-young. Haenam (Mayor Chulhwan Park) has held 70 cultural events including Myeongnyang Battle Festival in 2015. The county is famous as it is located at the end of the Korean peninsular and attracts a greater number of visitors who seek a healing there every year. 

Velo Star and Frunch Korea win a prize among 50 winner companies
50 top contributor companies also won a prize at 2015 Korea Culture Management Awards. Korea's No.1 bicycle company Velo Star (CEO Minsoo Yea) is taking the initiative in supplying eco-friendly electric bicycles. It is a partner company of the largest bicycle motor manufacturer in the world BAFANG (China) and Yea develops and supplies 'Center Drive' which is an electric bicycle conversion kit. Licompany (CEO Sukwoon Kang) introduced licoin which can be used in affiliated stores of online shopping mall (11th Street), chicken restaurants, coffee shops and gas stations and the changes can be exchanged at licoin exchange. Kang currently is expanding the affiliated stores for licoin. Food franchise Frunch Korea (CEO Sungjeong Lee) runs his 4 businesses 'Cafe Frunch', 'Sugar Box', 'Cookpl' and 'Hwatteoknam Littlecafe' with the management philosophy 'Open, Fair and Equal'. All 4 food franchises show 0% closing down rate. Lee runs cooking research center, startup support team and management support team at the head office. Itopstudy (CEO Eunsook Kim) is specialized for holdover students and runs three special management systems on division of learning time, life & plan & school record, and pathway guidance. Kim also closely works with top university graduates who studied at Itopstudy to provide mentoring services. Park Sul Nyeo Hanbok (CEO/designer Park Sul-nyeo) is spreading the excellence of traditional Korean dress to the world and Segero TV (CEO Wonki Kim/stock investment) won the awards three times in a row.
