현대자동차, ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트다운 2016’ 실시
현대자동차(주)가 고객과 함께 하는 대규모 새해맞이 이벤트인 ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트 다운 2016’을 서울시 강남구에 위치한 코엑스 앞 영동대로 일대에서 사상 최대의 규모로 실시한다. 2011년부터 매년 진행돼 올해로 다섯 번째를 맞이한 ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트다운(The Brilliant Countdown)’은 시대의 트렌드에 맞는 화려한 공연과 고객 참여 이벤트 등으로 구성돼 대표적인 새해맞이 행사로 자리잡고 있다. 현대자동차는 그간 강남역 일대의 협소한 장소에서 진행하던 ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트다운’을 더 많은 관객과 함께 성대하게 진행하기 위해 지난 11일 무역협회와 강남구와 함께 MOU를 체결하고 본행사 장소를 코엑스 앞 영동대로로 옮겼다고 밝혔다.

이번 ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트다운 2016’에는 에픽하이, 버벌진트, 산이, 마이크로닷, 노라조 등 인기 가수 공연 대형 불꽃쇼와 영상쇼 등 다채로운 프로그램이 준비돼 참여하는 관객들의 만족도를 높일 계획이다. 특히 현대자동차는 이번 ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트다운’의 메인 무대가 시작하는 저녁 부터 국민 가수 싸이(PSY)를 초대해 히트곡 ‘강남스타일’과 신규 앨범 타이틀곡 ‘나팔바지’ 등 인기곡을 부르며 2015년의 피날레를 화려하게 장식할 예정이다. 현대자동차 관계자는 “지난 2011년부터 진행한 뜻깊은 행사를 더 넓은 장소에서더 많은 국민들과 함께 진행 하게되어 매우 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 더욱 노력해 ‘더 브릴리언트 카운트다운’을 한국을 대표하는 새해맞이 행사로 만들 것”이라고 말했다. 

현대자동차, 2016 아슬란 출시
현대자동차는 고객 선호사양을 기본, 확대 적용하고 가격을 인하한 ‘2016 아슬란’을 12월 7일부터 시판한다고 밝혔다. ‘2016 아슬란’은 2014년 10월 아슬란 출시 이후 1년 동안 축적된 빅데이터 분석을 바탕으로 사양을 재구성하는 동시에 가격을 합리적으로 조정했다. 

특히 고객들이 선호하는 사양을 전 트림에 대거 기본 적용했으며, 다양한 패키지 사양을 더 많은 트림에서 선택할 수 있도록 하는 등 선택의 폭을 넓힌 것이 특징이다. 현대차는 사양 조정과 가격 인하에 맞춰 기존 G300(3.0) 모델의 모던 베이지 트림과 모던 스페셜 트림을 모던 트림으로 통합하고, G300(3.0) 익스클루시브 트림 및 G330(3.3) 모델의 모던 트림을 신규 운영한다. 이처럼 ‘2016 아슬란은’ 고객 니즈를 반영해 상품성을 개선하면서, 3.3 주력 트림을 비롯한 대부분 트림의 가격을 내렸다. ‘2016 아슬란’의 엔트리 트림인 ‘G300(3.0) 모던’의 경우, 기존 엔트리 트림인 ‘G300(3.0) 모던베이직‘ 대비 103만원 인하된 3,721만원으로 합리적인 가격을 책정해 프리미엄 세단의 품격을 유지하면서도 고객들이 더 쉽게 아슬란을 접할 수 있도록 했다. 또한 ‘G330(3.3) 모던’은 기존 ‘G330(3.3) 프리미엄’ 대비 245만원 인하된 3,868만원, ‘G330(3.3) 익스클루시브’는 기존 트림 대비 108만원 인하된 4,398만원으로 책정했다. 이밖에도 현대차는 중고차 제휴업체 ‘유카’와 함께 1년 75%, 2년 68%, 3년 62%로 중고차 가격을 보장해주는 ‘아슬란 중고차 가격보장 프로그램’을 ‘2016 아슬란’ 출시에 맞춰 새롭게 실시하기로 하는 등 ‘2016 아슬란’의 판촉·서비스에도 고객의 목소리를 반영했다.

현대차 관계자는 “아슬란 출시 후 1년 동안 축적된 1만명의 빅데이터 분석을 통해 고객의 목소리를 듣고자 애썼다”며, “현대차 브랜드의 위상을 대표하는 최고급 세단으로서 품격과 고객 만족도를 지속적으로 향상시키기 위해 앞으로도 적극적으로 고객의 목소리를 경청해 반영하겠다”고 말했다.

Hyundai Motors held the largest scale 'The Brilliant Countdown 2016' to meet the first sunrise of 2016 at Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam. The event started in 2011 and has become one of most famous New Year's Eve events in Korea with its splendid performance and shows. It used to be held around Gangnam Station but moved to Yeongdong-daero due to its packed space. For this, Hyundai signed a MOU with KITA and Gangnam District Office on 11 last month. Epik High, VerbalJint, San E, Microdot and Norazo gave a performance alongside splendid fire works and video images. PSY especially made a grand finale with his globally popular song Gangnam Style and a new release 'Bell-bottoms'. An official of Hyundai Motors said "We are pleased to have this event with more people in a bigger place this year. We will keep doing our efforts in promoting The Brilliant Countdown as the most famous New Year's Eve event in Korea."

Hyundai Motors releases 2016 Arslan
Hyundai Motors announced to release 2016 Arslan from 7 December 2015 with customized options and reduced prices. Since its advent in October 2014, the model has continuously improved functionality and prices based on big data and Hyundai added popular options and packages to all the trims of 2016 Arslan models. G300(3.0) for example combined modern beige trim with modern special trim and new exclusive trim of G300(3.0) and G330(3.3) will be added this year. As the entry trim, G300(3.00) is sold at $31,000 ($800 reduced price than beige trim) and you can enjoy premium sedan at an affordable price. G330(3.3) Modern on the other hand is sold at $32,000 ($2,100 discount) and G330(3.3) Exclusive at $36,000 ($800 discount). Meanwhile, Hyundai is introducing 'Arslan Used Car Price Guarantee Programme' in cooperation with a partner used car dealer 'YouCar' and will guarantee 75% of the original price for the use of 1 year, 68% for 2 years and 62% for 3 years. An official of Hyundai Motors said "Based on our big data analysis on 10,000 people accumulated for one year, we reflected their needs and wants. We will keep doing our best to provide the high performance luxury sedan at an affordable price for our customers."
