메트로비즈니스센터는 지난 10월 21~22일 1인 창조기업․시니어 기술창업센터 입주기업 A권역 합동 워크숍을 가졌다. 서울 양재동 소재 더케이호텔에서 열린 이번 워크숍은 입주기업 간 네트워킹, 창업역량 강화 교육, 마케팅전략 크라우드펀딩 소개, 엔젤투자 소개, 우수․실패 사례 공유, 상담부스 운영 등으로 진행되었다.

입주기업 73명, 운영인력 19명 총 92명이 참여한 이번 워크숍은 엔젤투자협회 엔젤투자지원센터 서경훈 팀장, 아이디어 오디션 김광호 대표, CRED 이수정 대표, 비즈니스포커스 원종표 지도사, 중소기업청 이동현 주무관 등 초빙 강사의 강연을 통해 참가 기업 대표들의 비즈니스 역량을 높이는 과정으로 진행되었다. 특히 이번 네트워킹 행사를 통해 워크숍 참가자간 활발한 소통이 이루어진 바, 타 센터에 입주하여 서로 만날 기회가 없었던 입주사들 간에 새로운 거래 및 협업이 생길 것으로 기대되고 있다.

(주)메트로비즈니스센터는 또한 지난 7월 21일 '대한민국 창업리그'를 개최하고 창업사업화가 가능한 제조․IT․디자인 분야 벤처 사업가들을 지원하는 행사를 갖기도 했다. 리그 결과 (주)프레도의 아날로그 블록 완구와 IoT(사물인터넷) 기술을 융합한 놀이/학습 플랫폼 '스마트 블록'이 대상을 수상하였으며, 나무메디의 고부가 식품제조를 위한 UV폴리페놀 증폭기가 최우수상을, 그래두(Gredo Studio)의 팔찌형 손세정제가 우수상을 수상했다. 특히 이번 창업리그에서는 20대 참가자가 전체의 34%로 가장 높은 비중을 보였으며 30대 참가자 역시 28%로 비교적 젊은 사업가들의 아이템이 주목받았다.

Metro Business Center had ‘Workshop of A Region of One-man Creative Business & Senior Technology Startup Center’ on 21 – 22 last October at  The K-Hotel Seoul. The programmes of workshop included ‘network of members’, ‘strengthening startup training’, ‘crowd funding for marketing strategy’, ‘introduction of angel investment’, ‘presentation of excellent & failed cases’ and ‘consulting booth’. 73 of one-man startups of the center and 19 management staff participated in the workshop alongside Team Leader Gyeonghoon Seo of Angel Investment Support Center, CEO Gwangho Kim of Idea Audition, CEO Soojeong Lee of CRED, Instructor Jeongpyeo Won of Business Focus and Action Office Donghyeon Lee of the Small & Medium Business Administration. Workshop this time was meaningful as they could meet and share information with other members of each branches. It is expected that they can start to build business cooperation between the members. Metro Business Center provides meeting rooms, professional consulting, free startup training and periodical publication. It is ideal for those who have an idea but do not have the capital as the center provides comprehensive solutions for startup as well as marketing advice in cooperation with media. The center also held ‘Korea Startup League’ on 21 last July and provides various sub-events to support startups in the fields of manufacturing, IT and design. As a result, PLEDO’s ‘Smart Block’ (playing & learning platform of toys plus IoT) won the Grand Prize, Namumedi’s ‘UV Polyphenol Amplifier’ the Top Prize, Gredo Studio’s wrist ring type ‘Hand Sanitizer’ the Runner-up Prize. 34% among the participants were in their 20s and the 30’s were 28%. 

웹․모바일 3D 프린팅 전문 기술, 서비스 보유한 강소기업

빅데이터 활용한 스마트 영어학습 서비스, Hintong

브로콜릭㈜는 각기 다른 경험을 한 개발자들이 인도의 IT기업 Wipro Limited에서 프로젝트를 하며 인연이 되어 만든 회사로서, 다양한 개인맞춤형 서비스 출시를 통해 개개인이 즐거워지고 젊게 사는 사회가 되도록 기여하기 위해 설립했다. 브로콜릭은 2014년 9월 설립되어 11월 기술&아이디어 창업경진대회 본선 진출, 대한민국발명특허대전 동상 수상, 12월 벤처 인증 등 빠른 속도로 그 역량을 인정받고 있다.  
브로콜릭의 ‘Hintong’은 빅데이터를 활용한 영어학습 서비스로서, 사용자가 모르는 영어단어를 예측하여, 검색할 필요 없이 미리 찾아준다. 사용자의 영어 수준에 적합한 원서인지 판단할 수 있는 지표를 제시하고 선택한 원서에 대해 개인 맞춤형 단어장을 제공한다. 또한 페이지별 모르는 단어 뜻을 자동으로 보여주는 뷰어 기능과 함께 사용자 영어 단어 수준에 맞는 원서를 추천받을 수도 있다. 브로콜릭의 Hintong은 12월 중 안드로이드 앱을 출시할 예정이다.

미국 여행자들을 위한 맞춤 통신사 서비스, 올텔

올텔(ALLTEL)은 미국 출국자 대상으로 미국 내 무제한 데이터, 통화, 문자 서비스 미국통신사 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 올텔(ALLTEL)은 한 달 $95만으로 무제한 데이터 사용이 가능하다. 올텔에서는 해외착신서비스 기능을 제공하며, 해외착신서비스를 신청하면 나의 국내번호 그대로 미국에서도 국내에서 걸려오는 전화를 받을 수 있다. 둘째 특징은 여행자 맞춤 요금제다. 올텔은 여행자의 일정에 맞추어 7일, 15일, 20일, 30일 무제한 데이터 요금제를 제공하고 있다. 미국통신사의 경우 30일 단위로 서비스를 제공하기에 짧은 여행일정이라도 30일 동안 사용가능한 요금제를 구매하여야 했다. 하지만 올텔은 고객의 여행일정에 따라 7일, 15일, 20일, 30일 단위로 요금제를 선택할 수 있다. 올텔은 또한 미국 도착 후 바로 사용할 수 있다. www.alltel.co.kr을 통해 구입할 때, 여행일정을 등록 하면 그 여행일정에 맞추어 서비스를 시작하도록 하여, 유심칩을 미국 도착 후 장착하면 바로 사용이 가능하다. 또 한국에서 구입한 요금 이외에 과금되는 비용이 없다.

PC/모바일 솔루션을 개발하는 위켄소프트는 2014년 11월에 설립된 PC/모바일 소프트웨어 개발회사다. 아직 설립 초기이지만 3명의 구성원이 똘똘 뭉쳐 목표를 향해 한발 한발 내딛고 있다. 위켄소프트는 PC방 종합차단 솔루션 코스트블로커와 쉽고 재미있게 투표와 기부를 할 수 있는 모두의 투표를 개발하였다. 다양한 주제에 대해 투표를 할 수 있는 플랫폼인 모두의 투표는 구글 Play스토어에서 다운로드 받을 수 있으며, 3가지 카테고리(오늘의 투표, 네티즌 안건, Let's Monkey)로 이루어져 있어 다양한 주제에 대한 투표가 가능하다. 바 그래프(2지선다), 원형 그래프(3~5지선다)를 통해 간편하고 즐겁게 투표결과를 볼 수 있다. 투표주제에 대한 의견쓰기를 통해 본인의 생각을 피력하고, 타인의 의견과 비교해 볼 수 있다. 투표주제를 올리거나, 투표에 참여하면 바나나(포인트)가 발생한다. 이 바나나는 100% 기부하기로만 사용이 가능하다.

안경 흘러내림 방지하는 아이디어 제품, 해외 진출 준비 중

안경 흘러내림 방지 악세사리를 제조하는 지슈즈는 2013년 창업하여 안경 흘러내림, 코눌림 방지 악세사리 G'SHOES를 개발 판매하고 있으며 최근 두 번째 제품 G'WINGS를 출시하여 제품군을 늘려가고 있다. 국내 생산을 통해 제품의 질을 높이고, 불량률을 최소화 하였으며 온라인을 기반으로 판매를 시작하여 오프라인 매장으로 확대해나가고 있다.
G'SHOES, G'WINGS는 안경을 쓰는 사람들이 가장 많이 느끼는 불편감인 안경의 흘러내림과 코눌림을 방지해주는 아이디어 상품으로 안경의 다리에 쉽게 끼워지고, 다양한 디자인을 통해 안경 혹은 선글라스에 멋을 더해준다. 지슈즈의 제품은 이데일리TV ‘이화선의 헬로우비즈’에서 방영, 스포츠조선, 한국투데이, 중소기업신문 등 10개 이상의 일간지에 소개 되었다. ‘안면눌림 방지를 위한 무게 분산형 안경악세사리’로 2015년 특허 출원 되었고, G'SHOES, G'WINGS, G'TAILS, 안경신발을 상표 등록했다. 최근 일본 수출업체인 메리트코우퍼레이션과 일본 ‘돈키호테’에 입점을 위해 시장조사 중이며, 미국 안경소품유통 업체인 IdeaMax와 미국 수출을 준비 중에 있다.

You usually needed to download a PC programme, app or plug-in to view and display 3D files. For this, Contrix Lab developed 3D Presenter technology for web and mobile that can enable you to save, preview, display and share. Based on this, the lab provides 3D Gallery Cloud services and is running Printable 3D Model’s No.1 3D Share Cloud and is promoting 3D education and the industry. Currently, the lab is planning to start the services in North America and Europe within the first half of 2016 and the second half in Asia and South America. In addition, the Contrix Lab Inc. has attracted attention as a promising global startup in the knowledge industry, for expanding it business area to the 3D VR (Virtual Reality) and  the VX (Virtual Experience) technology.

The developers, who had a chance to meet each other in the project of Wipro Limited (Indian IT company), established Broccolic in September 2014 in the hope of providing a variety of customized services. Broccolic made it into the finals of Technology & Idea Startup Competition and won the Bronze Prize at the Korea Invention Patent Exhibition in November and was approved as a venture enterprise in December 2014. Their brainchild ‘Hintong’ automatically finds the English vocabulary you are about to search. It also provides a customized personal vocabulary list based on each preference and automatically shows the meaning of the word page by page. Currently, Broccolic is planning to release an Android app within this month.

With PC room total blocking solution ‘Costblocker’, Wecan Soft developed ‘Vote of All’ that can enabled us to vote and make a donation easy and fun. It is divided into three categories of Today’s Vote, Netizen Agenda and Let’s Monkey and you can download Vote of All at Google Play. You can also see the result of the vote on bar graphs or circular graphs. Through this, you can understand other people’s preference and share your thoughts with them. You get banana points when participated in a vote and can also generate the topic for a vote. But your pointed can only be used for donation.

Holding glasses on your face

G’SHOES was established in 2013. It makes accessaries for glasses. They prevent the glasses from slipping down to the nose and also the marks on the nose. Recently, CEO Oh released G’WINGS in the hope of expanding his product lines. Oh significantly improved the quality of the products through domestic produce, minimized faultiness and is running both on/off line shops. The two are easily attached to the legs of the glasses and are provided in various designs. They appeared on ‘Leehwasun’s Hello Biz’ of Edaily TV and more than 10 daily newspapers including The Sports Chosun, The Hantoday and The Smedaily. Oh currently has applied for a patent and registered G’SHOES, G’WINGS and G’TAILS for trademark. Oh also is carrying out a market research in Japan at the moment in cooperation with Japanese Merit Cooperation and Don Quixote as well as preparing to export the products to the US through IdeaMax.
