박근혜 대통령, 경원선 남측구간 철도복원 기공식 참석
영동선, 태백선, 중앙선 등 전국 철도망 구축과 함께 고속철도의 개통으로 전국이 일일생활권이 되면서 어디든 빠르고 쉽게 여행할 수 있게 되었다. 그리고 만약 통일이 이루어져 남북한을 철도를 이용해 자유로이 왕래할 수 있다면 우리가 여행할 수 있는 곳도 무한할 것으로 기대된다. 지난달 6일 그 상상의 첫걸음을 떼는 ‘경원선 남측구간 철도복원 기공식’이 있었다.

박근혜 대통령은 경원선 복원 기공식 참석을 위해 2012년에 복원된 ‘신탄리역 ~ 백마고지역’ 구간을 열차로 이동했다. 열차에 탑승한 박 대통령은 실향민과 탈북민 그리고 유라시아 친선 특급 참가자들과 이야기를 나눴다. 박근혜 대통령은 이들에게 철길이 하루속히 북한까지 연결돼서 가족들을 만나고 고향도 방문하는 날이 오도록 최선을 다해 노력하겠다고 밝혔다. 그러면서 철도 복원 사업이 통일을 앞당기는 출발점이 될 것이라고 기대했다. 

박근혜 대통령은 복원사업 관계자들에게 감사의 인사를 전하고, 민족의 기쁨과 슬픔을 함께해온 경원선을 다시 연결시키는 것은 한반도의 아픈 역사를 치유하고 복원하여 통일과 희망의 미래로 나아가는 출발점이 될 것이라고 밝혔다. 그러면서 박근혜 대통령은 앞으로 경원선이 복원되면 여수와 부산에서 출발한 우리 기차가 서울을 거쳐 철원과 원산, 나진과 하산을 지나 시베리아와 유럽을 연결하게 될 것이라고 전했다.

그러면서 ‘비무장지대’를 뜻하는 DMZ가 남북주민은 물론 세계인의 ‘꿈이 이루어지는 지대’인 ‘Dream Making Zone’으로 탈바꿈하게 될 것이라며 국민 모두가 한마음으로 힘을 모아 주길 바란다고 언급했다. 광복 70주년 및 분단 70주년을 맞는 뜻 깊은 해에 한반도의 대동맥을 잇는 경원선 복원사업의 착공이 성공적으로 이어져, 새로운 희망의 통로를 열 수 있는 평화통일의 디딤돌이 되기를 기대한다.

박근혜 대통령, 창조경제혁신센터장 및 지원기업 대표 간담회
지난해 9월 1일, 창조경제를 구체화하기 위해 17개 시도별로 주요 대기업과 창조경제혁신센터를 연계하고 1:1 전담 지원체계를 구축하겠다고 밝힌 박근혜 대통령! 7월 22일 인천 창조경제혁신센터를 마지막으로 전국 17개 혁신센터 구축을 완료했다. 이는 2014년 9월 15일 대구 창조경제혁신센터가 문을 연 지 310일 만이다.

지역별 센터 출범을 위해 노력해온 지원 기업과 센터장을 만난 박근혜 대통령은 지금까지 마련된 창조경제 기반을 충분히 활용하고 발전시켜 본격적으로 성과를 창출해야 한다고 언급했다. 이를 위해 박 대통령은 각 지역별 혁신센터를 지역 주민들이 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 공감대를 형성해줄 것을 당부했다.

박근혜 대통령은 지속적이지 않다면 실질적인 효과가 나올 수 없기 때문에, 창조경제추진단이 각 지역별 센터가 형식적으로 가지 않도록 점검해 가는 것이 매우 중요하다고 강조했다.

끝으로 박 대통령은 혁신센터가 대·중소기업 상생발전과 각 지역에 유능한 숨은 인재를 찾을 수 있는 접점이 되어야 한다고 언급했다. 이어 혁신센터가 창업과 지역혁신의 거점기능을 성공적으로 수행하기 위해선 지원기업들의 적극적인 역할이 중요하다며 지원과 협조를 당부했다.

Park attends groundbreaking ceremony of restoration of Gyeongwon Line
The network of national railroads made it possible for people to travel across the nation in a day. And tourist attractions will be limitless if the network is expanded to the North. As the first step of realizing this dream, there has been a groundbreaking ceremony of restoration of Gyeongwon Line of the South that is connected to the North. 

President Park boarded on the train running between Sintan-ri Station and Baengmagoji Station (restored in 2012) to attend the ceremony. On the train, Park had a light talk with displaced people, North Korean defectors and the Eurasia Rail officials. She said that the restoration of the national railroad network between the South and the North would advance the unification and she would do her best to achieve this. Park showed her gratitude to the railway officials and said that the restoration of Gyeongwon Line would enable the trains from Yeosu and Busan to run to Europe through Seoul, Cheorwon, Wonsan, Najin, Hasan and Siberia. 

Park added that DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) will turn into Dream Making Zone one day and the people of the whole nation have to work together to achieve this.
Park to have a meeting with the heads of Creative Economy Innovation Center and CEOs President Park announced on 1 September last year that she would connect the 17 Creative Economy Innovation Center and build 1:1 support system. She kept her promise by opening the 17th center in Incheon on 22 July this year. The first center was opened in Daegu on 15 September 2015 and it took 310 days to complete the pledge. 

At the meeting with the heads of Creative Economy Innovation Center and the CEOs of beneficiary companies, Park said that it was time that they needed to start to harvest in earnest based on the foundation they had built so far. Park continued that each center should be actively used by the local residents and it was important to keep an eye on the projects whether it was practical and consistent. Park added that the center also had to play a role to connect major companies with SMEs as well as to foster talented people in the region and the support and cooperation from companies were a must for this.
