현대차-포스코ICT, 친환경차 충전 인프라 구축 MOU 체결
현대차가 포스코ICT와 협력해 플러그인 하이브리드카, 전기차 등 친환경차 충전 인프라 구축에 본격적으로 나선다. 현대자동차㈜는 지난 달 26일 서울시 강남구 영동대로에 위치한 국내영업본부 사옥에서 포스코ICT와 함께 양사 관계자가 참석한 가운데 친환경차 공용 충전 인프라 구축에 관한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 현대차는 이번 MOU를 계기로 포스코ICT와 긴밀한 협력 관계를 구축함으로써 친환경차 기술, 민간 전기차량 충전 사업 등 각 분야에서 최고의 전문성을 갖춘 양사가 시너지를 발휘해 국내 친환경차 시장 확대를 선도할 계획이다. 무엇보다도 이번 MOU는 일반인의 접근이 쉽지 않았던 공공기관 중심으로 설치된 기존 충전시설과 달리 대형마트, 영화관 등 생활밀착형 공용시설에 충전시설을 구축함으로써 일반 고객들의 접근성과 편의성을 높인다는데 큰 의의가 있다. 

또한 현대차는 내달 ‘쏘나타 플러그인 하이브리드’ 출시에 이어 향후 전용 플러그인 하이브리드카 출시까지 계획하고 있어, 이번 MOU 체결이 국내 플러그인 하이브리드카 도입을 본격화하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다. 현대차는 이번 MOU 체결로 올해 안에 현대차 고유의 디자인이 적용된 충전시설을 대형마트, 백화점, 영화관 등에 120기 가량 구축할 예정이며, 포스코ICT는 충전기 운영 및 유지·관리와 충전시설 구축을 위한 부지 확보 등을 담당하게 된다. 현대차 관계자는 “이번 포스코ICT와의 협력을 통해 국내 친환경차 시장 확대를 앞당길 수 있을 것으로 기대한다”며 “내달 출시를 앞두고 있는 쏘나타 플러그인 하이브리드를 비롯해 차세대 친환경차 개발에 지속적인 노력을 투자하고 인프라 구축에도 앞장설 것”이라고 밝혔다. 또한 포스코ICT 관계자는 “민간 차원에서 처음으로 전기차 충전 인프라를 구축하고 운영해 온 노하우를 활용해 친환경차를 이용하는 고객들이 보다 편리하게 충전을 할 수 있도록 지원할 것”이라고 밝혔다. 

현대자동차 미니콘서트 ‘아슬란 뮤직 아틀리에’ 개최
현대자동차(주)가 고객들에게 빛나는 경험을 선물하기 위한 미니콘서트 ‘아슬란 뮤직 아틀리에’를 개최한다고 지난 달 16일 밝혔다. 오는 8월 14일을 첫 회로 12월까지 매월 1회 진행될 ‘아슬란 뮤직 아틀리에’는 자동차와 커피 그리고 음악이 어우러진 ‘강남오토스퀘어’에서 고객들이 품격 있고 여유로운 문화를 즐길 수 있도록 준비될 예정이다. 현대자동차는 ‘아슬란 뮤직 아틀리에’가 열리는 ‘강남오토스퀘어’에 고객들이 여유롭게 이벤트를 즐길 수 있도록 고품격 케이터링 서비스와 함께 아슬란의 렉시콘 사운드 시스템을 체험할 수 있는 차량을 전시해 행사의 질을 높일 계획이다. 최상의 정숙성과 승차감, 편의성을 갖춘 전륜 구동 대형 세단 아슬란은 12개의 고성능 스피커를 통해 박진감 넘치는 음원을 구현하는 ‘렉시콘 프리미엄 사운드 시스템’을 갖추는 등 최상의 멀티미디어 환경을 제공하고 있으며, 행사에 참여한 고객들은 아슬란의 고품격 사운드 시스템을 통해 음악을 체험하는 즐거움과 더불어 아슬란의 뛰어난 상품성을 동시에 느껴볼 수 있다. 참가를 원하는 고객은 현대자동차 홈페이지를 통해 신청을 할 수 있으며 현대자동차는 추첨을 통해 매월 차수별 고객을 선정해 개별적으로 공지할 예정이다. 현대자동차 관계자는 “최고의 정숙성과 고급스러운 음향 시스템을 갖춘 아슬란에 걸맞은 품격과 여유가 있는 미니콘서트를 준비했다”며 “앞으로도 현대자동차는 더욱 많은 고객들에게 다양하고 품격 있는 문화 이벤트를 제공할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Hyundai Motors, signing a MOU to build infrastructure for eco-friendly vehicle
Hyundai Motors signed a MOU with POSCO ICT at Domestic Operations Center in Gangnam District, Seoul on 26 last month to build electricity charging points. The MOU is expected for both companies to lead the electric and eco-friendly car industry and its technology in Korea. It is meaningful that the MOU enables eco-friendly vehicle users to charge their car in public places such as large marts and cinemas unlike the existing inconvenient charging points confined to public institutions. In accordance with the MOU, Hyundai Motors is planning to release 'Sonata Plugin Hybrid' next month and 'Plugin' next year and the MOU is expected to push forward the electric vehicle market in earnest.

For this, Hyundai Motors is installing 120 Hyundai logo charging points in large marts, department stores and cinemas nationwide and POSCO ICT, on the other hand, is doing the management and maintenance of the points and securing the charging spots. An official of Hyundai Motors said "we are expecting that the MOU will move up the eco-friendly vehicle market in Korea and for this, we will push forward the development of hybrid and electric vehicles." An official of POSCO ICT said "we will use our know-how in the field to create ideal environment for hybrid and electric vehicle users to charge their car more easily and conveniently."

Hyundai Motors, holding  a mini concert 'Arslan Music Atelier' 
Hyundai Motors announced on 16 last month that they would hold Arslan Music Atelier once a month from 14 August to December this year. The mini concert will be held at Gangnam Auto Square where you can enjoy cars, coffee and music all in one place. Also provided by Hyundai Motors at the concert is high quality catering services and Arslan's Lexicon Sound System.
