Zion Eunhae (benignity) Prayer House, paving the way for world missionary work through holding Blessed Great Holy Meeting in Korea
Building the world as one by helping people in need

Holding Blessed Great Holy Meeting with Dr.  Vernon  &  Dr.  Helene  Beavers at Pyeongtaek Zion Eunhae Prayer House
Fulfilling one global missionary work

Pastor Shin has full of self-confidence in her way to deliver and practice God's Word. Opened in Jisan-dong, Pyeongtaek City, June last year, Pyeongtaek Zion Eunhae Prayer House is a result of Shin's lengthy effort to achieve spiritual vision and salvation of the world. Dr.  Vernon  &  Dr.  Helene  Beavers are the founders of Mosaic International Ministries and the meeting was only possible thanks to Shin and the pastor Beavers intimate friendship started in the US a long time ago. Shin went to the US alone when she was young and had to go through many ordeals and trials before meeting the Beavers. They stayed in the same church for 5 years and spread the gospel.

Alongside Mosaic International Ministries, the Beavers are also the founders of World Ministerial Alliance. The goal of these organizations is to gather the pastors around world over borders and colors to spread God's Word universally through one body and alliance. The name 'Mosaic' contains the Beavers' belief that "we are one regardless race and colors" like each tile gathers together to make a beautiful mosaic. And the three leaders of this Mosaic are the Beavers (US, America), the pastors Yinka & Rose Yusuf (Nigeria, Africa) and Shin (Korea, Asia). The Beavers' participation in the Blessed Great Holy Meeting in Korea was part of global missionary work they are preparing.

Shin says "God is not many and for one race or country but God is one and for everybody. Therefore, we all have to follow one God over race and color. This means that we need to build a universal missionary work together and the Blessed Great Holy Meeting held this year was part of the preparation for this global mission."

Healing people's pain and wound and giving them opportunities to experience different cultures in the US
Receiving '2014 Korea Volunteers Awards' for her devotion to society

The Blessed Great Holy Meeting was meaningful as it was not only a congregation to heal people's pain and wound but also it established a foothold for people to go and experience different cultures in the US where people from all round the world live together. At the interview with Power Korea, Shin revealed her plan to carry out her ministration in the US over Korea in the future.
When asked about Shin, the Beavers said "Shin's preach is impressive and passionate. In addition, she's leading her life according to God's Word and puts it in practice. She is a person who never delivers a sermon if she is not to practice it herself in life. We think that this is the driving force of Shin and it makes her an uncrushable pastor in believing and practicing God's Word. Also, Shin has a unique talent to win trust from both believers and people. For instance, she knows how to level up one's belief from one stage to another and eventually led them closer to God. In other words, Shin can make weak believers to be strong and strong believers to be even stronger."

Shin was born in Haenam County, Korea, spent her school years in Jeju Island, went to Seoul and crossed over to the US when she was 19. She did not intend to walk the path as a Christian but she did when she realized the fact that a true success is not at worldly pleasure but to follow the path Jesus Christ has walked through. The time Shin spent in the US was the harshest time she has ever had in her whole life. No jobs were provided for her and she was the only Asian in the region. But, ironically, this harshness made Shin stronger. Shin recollects "that was the time which I promised to myself and God that I would only live for God and others for the rest of my life but never for my personal gains."

Shin ardently spread the gospel and helped other people in various places in the US including Dallas and Texas but came back to Korea to do the same mission in Busan in 2000 when she heard the news that IMF hit the Korean soil in 1997. With her good deeds wide spreading, Shin received '2014 Korea Volunteers Awards' for her devotion to building a better society. Alongside Zion World Missionary Church of The Presbyterian Church of Korea, Shin is ardently running Pyeongtaek Zion Eunhae Prayer House to keep up her good deeds.

Promoting spiritual revival with the Beavers
With benevolence and sharing as her basic principle, Shin has been bravely facing hardships on the path she has walked through as pastor for 20 years. Especially, the Blessed Great Holy Meeting this year was really meaningful as Shin and the Beavers initiated spiritual revival in the Korean soil by using the meeting as a springboard. In the past, Shin had to see her church almost closed twice but she now even opened the second chapel Pyeongtaek Zion Eunhae Prayer House in addition to the church. Whenever an ordeal visited her, she prayed to God asking help and made herself stronger. In this respect, the prayer house was a miracle as she could secure the site and the government cancelled the green belt on the site at good timing which made her relatively easy to build it. This is all thanks to the response of God to her prayer and belief. Shin says "this prayer house is a sanctuary for those suffer from pain and a place of praising God who create something from nothing." The Beavers also said "helping people in need is God's calling. When Shin first came to America, we provided her with shelter, food and everything we could. Now, we observe that she is returning what she received to others and society. For this reason, we will always be with Shin and work together to spread God's Word."

Various roles including Chairwoman of World Pastoral Support Missions Association and Head of The Christian Council of Korea's Helping North Korean Children Department
Launching global missionary work by connecting the US, Nigeria and Korea

Currently, Shin is playing various roles as Chairwoman of Korea Underprivileged Elderly People Support Missions Association, World Pastoral Support Missions Association, Patriotic National Movement Headquarters, and Head of The Christian Council of Korea's Helping North Korean Children Department. She met and talked about believers' way of living with pastors Na Kiom-il and Jang Kyong-dong (Chairmen of World Pastoral Support Missions Association) at a summer retreat of Interdenominational Small Church Alliance on August 2012, and met pastor Hong Jaechul, CEO of The Christian Council of Korea, and other pastors to talk about missionary work at the Zion Eunhae Prayer House opening service on June 2014.
Meanwhile, Shin is making a documentary (5 episodes) at the moment to share with people the story of the harsh path she has been through as a pastor. Although only 2 episodes were completed, the number of viewers already reached 2,200 within a week of its release. The documentary contains a story of Shin's life and her missionary work. Shin says "I will start global missionary work in earnest with the Beavers and the Yusuf when the documentary is completed."

"The role of true believers is to help people in need"
Providing free meals for 100 underprivileged every day

Shin emphasized her role as a pastor by saying "I never ask people to believe in God on any condition. I give everything they need unconditionally and this is the way I lead people to God. If I, as a servant of God, can't impress people, how can I expect them to believe in God? It's only nonsense."

Despite the vicious slender put on Shin by those who were jealous of her at one time in the past, Shin kept her unwavering faith and devotion as God only is her witness. Shin started to live with 40 people in need at Hwaseong Church and she is now living with 100 people at the current Zion Eunhae Prayer House and she will never stop helping others till the end. Shin's social contribution activities also include Sharing Kimchi Movement, Sharing Agricultural Products Movement and Free Meal Campaign and she is making herself as a role model to create a better world and society within the God's Word.
