세계적 오페라 무대를 느끼다

전 세계적으로 유명한 오페라 극장을 실내로 옮긴 라디바 오페라 스튜디오는 테너인 오준영 대표가 그동안 음악을 연습하며 느꼈던 갈증을 해소하기 위한 공간을 만들겠다는 다짐으로 시작했다. 

한 예술가로서 자유로운 생각과 음악의 감성을 충분히 표현하기 위해서는 연습실만큼은 삭막하고 답답한 공간을 벗어나는 것이 가장 우선시 돼야 할 조건이라고 생각했다고 한다. 그가 처음 연습실을 오픈하기 위해 준비한 것이 바로 세계적 오페라 무대로 채워진 스튜디오의 벽면이다. 유명 오페라 극장의 실사 이미지를 직접 구입해 벽면을 채움으로써 연습실 중앙에 서면 실제 유명 오페라 극장에 선 것과 같은 느낌을 받을 수 있고, 이로써 세계적 오페라 극장에 대한 대리만족을 할 수 있는 공간을 완성했다. 

또한, 창문을 가리는 커튼의 선택에 있어서도 오페라 극장에서 사용하는 커튼으로 실제 극장에 있는 듯한 분위기를 연출하기 위해 노력했다. 이 뿐이 아니다. 피아노의 조율 상태를 수시로 점검해 최상의 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 최고의 제품을 연습실 내부에 비치함으로써 이용하는 사람들의 불편을 최소화 했다. 이런 그의 노력은 대중음악에 비해 다소 뒤쳐진 클래식 음악시장을 좀 더 활성화 시키고, 상업성보다는 음악이 가지고 있는 엄청난 힘을 조금이라도 대중들에게 전달하고자 함을 담고 있었다. 

또, 부담 없는 가격으로 음악 전공자 뿐 아니라 음악을 사랑하고 관심을 갖는 많은 사람들이 이용할 수 있도록 했으며, 국내 문화예술이 커가는 데 조금이나마 일조하고자 하는 마음을 담아 라디바 오페라 스튜디오를 오픈했다고 한다. 좀 더 자유로운 스튜디오를 만들기 위해 열린 문화공간으로 만들겠다는 오준영 대표는 최고의 조건과 환경에서 많은 음악인들이 함께 하길 바란다고 전했다.

La Diva Opera Studio reproduced a world renowned opera theatre in a studio. It was tenor Oh's will to quench his thirst with an appropriate practice studio. Oh thought it was very important for artists to have a reasonably big and comfortable practice space to express one's emotion and idea. Oh started working on the walls of the studio first by reproducing the walls of a world renowned opera theatre with a printed real image so that artists can feel as if they are in a real opera house.

The window curtains are also made as the same ones used in a real opera house. In addition, Oh facilitated the studio with top equipments and tunes the pianos in the studio on a regular basis to minimize the inconvenience of artists. Another reason Oh decided to run the studio is that he wants to show the true power of music to the audience rather than the commercial part of music like popular ones as well as promoting classical music. The studio is provided not only for musicians but for everybody who love music at a reasonable price. Oh's goal is to make the studio as a cultural space for music lovers to share each other's passion in music.
