‘메카트로닉스·물산업의 미래’ – 경남 창조경제혁신센터 출범

경남 창원에서 ‘창조경제혁신센터’가 전국에서 9번째로 개소했다. 창의적인 지역인재와 창업·벤처기업, 대학·연구기관, 지자체 등 지역의 창조경제 역량을 연계해 지역 내의 창조경제 생태계를 만들어가는 공간인 ‘창조경제혁신센터’는 2015년까지 전국 17개 주요 시도 지역에 설치될 예정이다.

지난달 9일 막을 올린 ‘경남 창조경제혁신센터’는 △ICT 융합 첨단 메카트로닉스 허브 도약 △물산업 전략적 육성 △항노화 천연물 자원의 6차 산업화 등을 추진해 창조경제 생태계를 구축할 것으로 기대된다. 더불어 ‘경남 창조경제혁신센터’의 경우 기존(금융·법률·특허) 기능에 맞춤형 컨설팅 서비스를 추가하여 원스톱서비스의 시스템화를 구현하며 온라인 사전진단을 통해 고객의 수요를 미리 파악하고, 맞춤형 컨설팅을 지원할 예정이다.

박근혜 대통령은 이러한 경남창조경제혁신센터의 지원을 바탕으로 대구·포항센터와 연계해 스마트 공장 확산에 필요한 스마트 기계를 적기에 공급하고, 부산센터와 협력해 사물인터넷(IoT)기술도 융합하는 등 동남권 제조업 혁신 3.0 벨트를 형성해나갈 것이라고 밝혔다. 더불어 그동안 기업 내부적으로 진행되었던 협력사 발굴 과정을 관련 기업들이 모두 참여하는 온라인 플랫폼으로 전환시켜, 대기업과 ICT 분야의 중소기업 간 기술융합도 보다 가속화 할 것이라고 언급했다.

경남창조경제혁신센터에서는 ‘항노화 천연자원’을 고부가가치 제품으로 개발해 경남 내륙의 신성장 동력으로 키워갈 것이며 제품화나 마케팅 능력을 보강하기 위한 경영컨설팅을 제공하고, 부산센터와 연계해 유통전문가의 멘토링도 지원하게 될 것이다. 박 대통령은 충북창조경제혁신센터에서 대기업의 판매망 활용을 위한 체계적 지원방안과 한방 기능성화장품과 의약품 원료로도 개발해 수출 전략품으로 육성해 나가겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.

경남혁신센터에는 온라인 사전 진단을 통해 수요자의 특성을 미리 파악하고, 고객의 요구에 맞는 맞춤형 컨설팅을 지원하는 ‘토털 컨설팅 창구’가 설치되는데, 특히 예비창업자부터 기존 중소기업까지 기업 성장 단계별로 필요한 정보를 맞춤형 패키지로 준비해 제공할 계획이다. 더불어 기업지원 통합정보 DB를 구축해 온라인상에서도 원스톱 안내가 가능하도록 지원하겠다고 강조했다.

박근혜 대통령은 통합의 아이콘인 창원이 이제 창의와 융합을 통해 동남권 제조업 혁신 3.0의 전진기지가 될 것으로 믿는다며, 앞으로 경남센터를 책임지고 있는 두산과 경남도민 모두가 창의적인 기업가 정신을 발휘하고, 공생하며 발전할 수 있도록 지혜와 열정을 모아달라고 당부했다.

박 대통령은 뒤이어 경남지역 산학연 오찬 간담회에 참석해 경제 혁신을 위해 매진하고 있는 창업‧중소기업과 지역 기업인들의 노고를 격려하고 초기창업가, 중소·벤처기업인 및 산학연 대표의 애로와 건의 사항을 청취했다.

박근혜 대통령은 글로벌 경제 둔화로 어려움을 겪고 있지만, 경남이 가진 창의와 혁신의 DNA를 잘 살려낸다면 경남의 경제가 재도약할 수 있다고 기대하며 이를 위해서 박 대통령은 경남 발전의 중추 역할을 해온 기계 산업에 ICT와 첨단기술을 창의적으로 융합해서 제조업의 혁신을 이뤄내고 새로운 성장 동력을 발굴하는 것이 시급한 과제라고 강조했다.
박 대통령은 기계 산업이 더 크게 도약하기 위해서는 대기업과 중소기업의 유기적인 협력도 매우 중요하다고 강조하며, 경남 창조혁신센터는 I-Gen 마켓플레이스를 통해서 대·중소기업 협력의 새로운 오픈 플랫폼을 제공하며, 대기업은 부품 국산화 등 요구내역을 등록하고, 중소기업은 자신이 갖고 있는 기술역량을 등록함으로써 서로 원하는 상대를 적기에 찾는 상생협력의 시스템이 될 것이라고 설명했다.

Launching South Gyeongsang Province Creative Economy Innovation Center, the future of mechatronics and water industry

South Gyeongsang Province Creative Economy Innovation Center opened its door at Changwon as the 9th center. The centers are designed to carry out to promote creative economy through talented people, venture enterprises, research centers, universities and local organizations. 17 centers in major cities are expected to open by 2015. The 9th center plans to promote cutting edge ICT convergence mechatronics, strategic water industry and 6th industrialization of anti-aging natural resources. The center added customized consulting services to existing functions in finance, law and patent to build one-stop service system through prediagnosis of customer's demands online. Park said that the center would provide smart equipment at the right time by linking with the centers in Daegu and Pohang and converge IoT technology in cooperation with Busan center to create Southeast Area Manufacturing Industry Innovation 3.0 Belt. In addition, the center will turn the independent process of finding partner companies to an online platform with which all the related enterprises can participate in the pursuit of converging the ICT between major corporations and SMEs. The center will also promote anti-aging natural resources as high valued new growth engine in the region and will provide management consulting to strengthen marketability as well as advice on distribution in cooperation with Busan center. Park said that the center in Chungbuk would promote developing domestic functional cosmetic products and raw medical materials to exportation as well as building supporting measures by using major corporation's distribution networks. The 9th center, on the other hand, would establish Total Consulting Department in relation with market demand and consulting to provide customized information for start-ups and SEMs. The center also plans to build total information date base to support businesses online. Park said that Changwon will be the advanced base of Southeast Area Manufacturing Industry Innovation 3.0 Belt and asked Doosan and the residents to do their best to contribute to creative economy.

Park attended the luncheon of industry-academic cooperation in South Gyeongsang Province and encouraged the related industry officials and listened to the difficulties of venture enterprises and SMEs and industry-academic cooperation. Park said that it is important for South Gyeongsang Province to promote new growth engine and to innovate manufacturing industry in the region by converging ICT and cutting edge technology with the mechanical industry which has been playing the key role in the development of the region. Park added that it is important for major companies to work together with SMEs and the center will provide open platform through I-Gen Market Place for the cooperation. This will enable both parties to find their partner at the right time by registering each other's needs and technical capacities.
