제6차 미래부-산업부 정책협의회
미래부와 산업부 양 부처는 과학기술기반의 기업혁신 도약을 위해 유망기업의 기술수요를 선제적으로 발굴하여 공공연구성과 이전, R&BD, 사업화 자금 등 수요 맞춤형 사업화 지원을 추진키로 했다. 공공연구성과의 확산을 통해 기업에게 새로운 성장 모멘텀을 제공해야 한다는 공감대 하에서, 기업 현장을 직접 찾아가 중소기업이 필요로 하는 기술 및 사업화를 적극 지원할 예정이다. 미래부는 수요발굴지원단 구성과 운영을 총괄하면서, 미래부 관련 사업 및 연구회․출연(연)․특성화대 등 산하기관에서 보유한 인력과 지원 프로그램을 활용하여 지원을 실시하고, 산업부는 수요발굴지원단 대상 기업 Pool을 제공하고, 인력 유동성(Mobility) 확대를 통한 중소기업 인력지원, R&BD 사업, 투․융자 지원 등을 연계하여 지원 한다. 또한, 양 부처는 센서산업 육성, 산업단지 클라우드 클러스터 조성, 미래유망 4대 분야(바이오, 기후, 나노, 안전) 원천기술개발 및 산업육성 등에 있어서도 적극 협력하기로 했다. 양 부처는 사물인터넷(IoT) 구현이 본격화되면서 센서산업을 함께 육성해야 한다는 점에 의견을 같이했다. 뿐만 아니라, 중소기업의 정보화 및 업무 효율성을 향상시키기 위한 산업단지 클라우드 클러스터를 조성함에 있어 협력하기로 하고, 금년에 산업단지 4군데를 선정하고 입주 중소기업에 클라우드 서비스를 적용하기 위하여 산업단지 선정, 사업 진행 및 후속 지원 등에 협조하기로 했다. 미래부 이석준 차관은 “기업현장을 잘 알고 경험이 풍부한 산‧학‧연 전문가들이 기술 수요를 직접 발굴함으로써 정부 R&D 투자의 경제 기여도를 높일 것으로 기대하며 특히 산업의 중추가 되는 중소기업의 역량 제고와 신산업 창출을 위해 양 부처 간의 긴밀한 협업이 필요하다”고 강조했다.

 최양희 장관 설 소포우편물 특별처리 현장격려방문
미래창조과학부 최양희 장관은 진나 달 12일 저녁 야간 물류작업이 한창인 동서울우편집중국을 찾아 설 우편물 특별소통 현황을 점검하고, 소통에 만전을 기해 달라고 당부했다. 
동서울우편집중국은 국내 최대의 우편물류 허브로 소통 물량은 하루 평균 30여만 개에 달한다. 최 장관은 소포 분류 작업장 등을 돌아보며 “우체국은 국민과 가장 가까이에서 국민들과 함께하고 있는 정부기관”이라면서 “평소보다 우편물량이 크게 증가해 많은 어려움이 있겠지만, 물류 가용 자원을 최대로 활용해 설 명절 선물 우편물이 신속하고 안전하게 배달될 수 있도록 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다. 최 장관은 또 “우편물류는 정보통신기술(ICT)이 접목되면서 처리속도가 획기적으로 진화했다”면서 “앞으로도 우체국이 우리나라 물류를 선도하는 기관이 되기를 기대한다”고 말했다. 올해 미래창조과학부 우정사업본부는 설 명절 기간에 1,560만 개의 소포와 택배가 소통될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 하루 평균 74만개, 평소의 1.6배에 달하는 물량이다. 전국의 우체국에서는 지난달 29일부터 18일까지 21일간을 설 우편물 특별처리기간으로 정하고 4만 4,000여명의 직원과 1,300여명의 소통 보조인력, 2,100여대의 차량을 추가 투입해 설 우편물 배달에 만전을 기하고 있다.

Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy made an agreement of start supporting a demand-customized business like public R&D result transmission, R&BD, business fund with discovering prospect companies’ technology demands for taking a new leap of company renovation of science technology base. From spreading of public research results, they had sympathy of providing new growth momentum to companies and so, they are supposed to support any technology and business projects that companies need actively by visiting them at hand. 

Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning is going to direct the demand discovering supporting team and commencing the support using their manpower out of associated business and institutes, specialized university and supporting programs, and on the other hand, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is going to provide the companies pool that they would discover and support and help them by R&BD business, investment and loan from people mobility. Also, both ministries agreed to cooperate more actively as they will help each other about censoring industry business, industrial complex cluster designing, developing original technology of the future promising four elements (bio, climate, nano, and safety) and also industrial rearing etc. Other than that, they decided to cooperated to build up the industrial cloud cluster for raising up the work efficiency and information upgrading of small/medium business, so they will choose four industrial sites within this year and then agreed to pick up the industrial complex, business management and follow-up support for residential small/medium business to have a cloud service. 

Vice minister of Science, ICT and Future Planning, Lee, Seok-June emphasized, “We expect to rise up the contribution in economic with discovering directly by experts out of industry, academy and research areas. Especially, it is necessary to have closer cooperation for both ministries to consider the competence of small/medium business that is taking a core role in industry and for creating a new industry. 

Minister Choi, Yang-Hee visited and encouraged a special division for parcels and packages during New Year holiday in the post office 
Minister Choi, Yang-Hee of Science, ICT and Future Planning department visited East-Seoul Post Center where workers were doing till late due to the New Year Holiday season and checked their special communication happening on the certain period time and then asked them to go through perfectly on 12 March. 

East-Seoul Post Center is the biggest mail herb center in Korea and the number of dealing with per day almost reaches at 300,000 on average. Minister Choi request, “Post office is the governmental organization being closest to people. I know it is extremely increasing around these days rather than normal, but hope you do the best to make things out smoothly so that every mail can come to the door safely and quickly.” 

Minister Choi said, “Mail distribution process has been blended with ICT so, the speedy handling has been an evolution. From now on, I expect post office in Korea would lead all the distribution as a sector.” This year, ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning was thinking that Korean postal service headquarters would process about 15,600,000 of door-to-door delivery service and parcels during the New Year holiday. Averagely, they are dealing with 740,000 a day, so it is about 1.6 times of normal amount. Post offices in Korea are thoroughly preparing for dealing with that by 44,000 workers and 1,300 back-up workers and also, 2,100 postal vehicles as the add-on.
