키네스 성장센터의 김양수 박사는 연세대학교 대학원을 졸업한 후 고려대학교에서 운동생리학을 전공한 이학박사로 고려대학교 스포츠과학연구소 연구원, 송도병원 운동처방센터 과장을 차례로 역임하고 현재 키네스 대표 원장이자 맞춤운동연구소의 소장으로 활발히 활동하고 있다. 그는 1999년 ‘맞춤운동센터’를 설립한 이래 다양한 공중파 방송에서 얼굴을 알려오며 ‘키네스 성장법’의 놀라운 효과를 입증해 보였다. “자녀의 키는 부모의 유전으로 결정되는 것이 아니라 성장기의 균형 잡힌 영양섭취, 맞춤 운동, 스트레스 관리, 충분한 수면으로 결정됩니다. 이에 저희 키네스는 키 성장의 열쇠를 쥐고 있는 이 4가지 요소에 변화를 주어 목표로 한 아이들의 키 성장을 돕고 있습니다.”

Recently, hospitals and oriental medical clinics, specialized in the height of children, have been increased and the sales of related products has gone up. Many parents worry that if their child is short he/she might lose confidence in social life. Using this psychological anxiety, many pharmacists advertise if the child takes their medicine he/she can grow up to their desired height but there was no scientific evidence that can back this up. Meanwhile, Dr. Yangsoo Kim proved that children can achieve 93.5% of their desired height by using KiNESS Growth Method which emphasizes on building up a healthy body rather than using drugs. Kim is a doctor of science who finished Graduate School at Yonsei University and majored in exercise physiology at Korea University. He served as a researcher at Korea University's Sport Science Research Center, and as the head of Songdo Hospital's Exercise Prescriptive Center. He currently is the representative director of KiNESS Growth Center and is the head of Customized Exercise Research Center. He established Customized Exercise Center in 1999 and has appeared on various TV programmes to prove surprising effect of KiNESS Growth Method. Kim said "the height of a child is decided not by heredity but by balanced nutrient intake, customized exercise, stress management, and enough sleep in their growth period. Our center is helping children grow up by giving changes to these four elements which hold the secrets of height."

KiNESS analyzes children's growth environment through 10 growth precision examination: life habit, body composition, leg muscle function, waist muscle function, flexibility, aerobic exercise ability, correct posture, growth rate, nutrient mineral, and brain function stress. Based on this, they provide customized solutions to each child such as customized exercise, balanced nutrient intake, sound sleep, and stress management. Kim has been meeting with a lot of children and realized that Korea's miseducation is the biggest problem. Despite the fact that early education and prerequisite learning can achieve nothing in terms of education, parents keep letting their children in that environment to sleep less and to have more stress which can affect their physical and mental growth. Thus Kim developed the genius brain education programme 'Do Vision' in the hope to reduce the stress while encouraging both physical and mental growth. Kim said "the problem is that children have their own limited container but parents try to fill it up. If this leads to stress, the function of their brain cannot be activated. Geniuses usually have a stable brain-wave and Do Vision has the same principle to make children have that wave to improve learning efficiency." Kim has been emphasizing on 'to think is a skill'. He separated or combined the existing thinking skills such as Brain Mapping(memory, thinking), Brain Storming(creativity, concentration), and Storytelling(reasoning power, imagination) for normal children to have a brain like a genius. The strong point of Do Vision's  Five Stages is to expand the brain's thinking circuit through 'naturally coming to ideas level' like a genius and to connect one's knowledge to various fields in order to achieve creative outcome.
