2014 대한민국 국제뷰티아티스트엑스포 성황리에 개최

국제뷰티산업의 위상과 비전을 제시  

한강 여의도 마리나컨벤션(Seoul Marina Convention)에서 ‘2014대한민국 국제뷰티아티스트 엑스포콘테스트(2014 KOREA International Beauty Artist Expo Contest) 이하<2014 IBAEC>’가 성황리에 개최됐다. 본 행사는 국제미용인의 경연장으로써 뷰티아티스트들의 뜨거운 열의와 한국뷰티산업의 국제적 위상을 가늠할 수 있었다. 기존의 미용대회와의 차별화를 위해 <2014 IBAEC>는 한강을 배경으로 개최되어 그 의미가 크다. 월간 파워코리아는 2014 IBAEC, 그 열정의 현장을 기록했다.  

한류바람의 중심에 선 뷰티산업 

2014 IBAEC 정무열 대회장은 “이제 뷰티산업은 하나의 문화의 장이다. 예전에는 한류(寒流)였다면 이제는 한류(韓流)다. 그 중심에 대한민국의 뷰티산업이 있다. 그 열정을 끝까지 함께 했으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

5회째를 맞이한 2014 IBAEC는 지금까지의 축적된 노하우를 바탕으로 다양한 프로그램을 준비했다. 총 11개분야 (헤어&가발, 화장품&메이크업, 에스테틱&스파, 바디케어, 네일아트&속눈썹, 성형&미용)등의 경연자들이 참가하여 실력을 겨뤘다. 또한 그 동안의 콘테스트가 순수한 경연대회만을 추구했다면 이번에는 애견, 장애우스타일리스트,미시,시니어뷰티선발대회등을 포함한 경진대회와 뷰티산업의 비전을 제시하고 관람객들에게 뷰티체험 서비스를 제공하는 주제관, 뷰티산업관련 기업홍보관이 전시장에 꾸며졌다. 그리고 뷰티 관련 학과의 진로 상담이 가능한 교육관, 뷰티산업 11개 분야별 협회나 학회의 작품이 전시될 작품전시관, 취업 상담이 가능한 취업상담관등의 부대시설도 마련됐다. 

모두를 아우르는 화합의 장

국제미용가연합회 성기하 이사장은 “미용인으로서 국제적으로 알리는 자리다. 그 점에 의의를 가졌다. 한달, 두달 고생을 하고 심사위원들은 밤을 세웠다. 오늘 하루를 위해서다. 한강의 시원한 바람을 맞이하는 이곳에서 화합의 장소를 펼쳤다”고 밝혔다. 

K-fit 가수 록키스(Rok-Kiss), 신인가수 엑스텐(X10)등의 공연무대 또한 화제가 되었다. 정무열 대회장은 “세계시장에서 우리나라 뷰티기술력과 인기는 가히 케이팝을 능가하는 수준이다. 이러한 추세 속에서 뷰티산업은 한국의 신성장사업의 촉진제역할에 주목받고 있다”며 “이번에 홍보대사로 위촉한 헬스돌 ‘록키스’는 뷰티컨셉에 딱 맞는 구성이다”라고 설명했다.

또한 ‘K~Up 한국업스타일 헤어쇼’,‘‘화담 담열 힐링쇼’,‘휘스킨 아트쇼’등의 뷰티관련쇼가 펼쳐졌으며 아울러 본 식전 행사에 앞서 한국이주민교류협회 발대식과 장애인뷰티엑스포 선포식이 진행되어 모두를 아우르는 화합의 장으로 거듭났다.   

주목할만한 뷰티산업의 견인차들 

여러 기업홍보관 중에서 많은 이들에게 주목받는 기업들이 있었다. ㈜해피소닉글로벌의 10분다이어트힐링샵은 인체의 부담을 줄이며 유산소 운동과 동시에 근력강화에 효과적인 음파진동운동기 ‘바디블링’과 반신욕, 골반운동기등을 체험할 수 있는 종합 다이어트솔루션으로 널리 알려져 있다. 또한 루가래쉬는 속눈썹·화장품전문회사로써 일본,중국,러시아,몽골,호주등에 미용관련 제품을 수출하고 있으며 최근 중국내수의 폭발적인 성장세에 힘입어 중국에서 규모를 확장하고 있다. 

정무열 대회장은 “㈜해피소닉글로벌에는 미용쪽에 많은 계열사가 있다. 뷰티라는 산업이 큰시장이기 때문에 이번 2014 IBAEC를 그룹차원에서 후원하였다. 뷰티산업을 활성화시킬 수 있는 계기로 만들고자 한다. 뷰티는 우리에게 이미 준비되어 있는 산업이다. 아무리 기획을  잘한다고 해도 산업에서 받아주지 않으면 기술이 쓸모가 없게 된다. 어떠한 사업자라 해도 직업창출을 해야 한다”고 밝혔다.

세계속의 국제미용인으로 발돋음

“우리나라의 제일 큰 자랑이 한강인데, 오히려 한강은 덜 알려져 있는 것이 사실이다. 한강을 배경으로한 경진대회는 처음일 것이다. 이것은 국제대회다. 쇼핑을 통해 한국으로 외국인들이 대거 유입되고 있는 상황이다. 우리는 한국의 문화를 한강이라는 ‘모토’를 통해 알리고, 서울을 알리고, 한류(韓流)를 세계에 알릴 것이다”

IBEAC의 심볼은 국제미용인들의 참여를 통한 화합을 상징한다. 이번 IBAEC에는 일본,대만,태국,싱가포르등의 미용인들이 참가로 국제미용인들의 위상을 드높였다. 2014IBAEC는 명실공한 국제엑스포로 정의 할 수 있다. 문화행사와 더불어 직업창출, 뷰티산업의 위상을 높이는데 일조하였다. 단순한 미용경연대회가 아닌. 기술·기능을 넘어선 세계속의 ‘국제미용인’으로 발돋음 하겠다고 정무열 대회장은 포부를 밝혔다. 

모든 행사가 종료되고 뜨거운 열정을 식혀주는 청명한 바람이 불어왔다. 취재를 마치고 바라본 한강에 비치는 석양은 내년 2015 IBEAC를 기대하게 만들었다.

2014 Korea International Beauty Expo Contest was held in great success

Introducing the status and vision of the international beauty industry

2014 Korea International Beauty Expo Contest(2014 IBAEC) was held in great success at Seoul Marina Convention. As a world beauticians' competition ground, the contest could see the passion of the beauty artists and the current international status of the Korean beauty industry. It was held with the Han River as the backdrop to differentiate the contest from ordinary beauty contests. Power Korea has recorded the heat of the event.

Standing in the center of the Korean Wave

Muyeol Jung, the president of 2014 IBAEC, said "the beauty industry is a culture. If it was a Cold Wave before, it is now the Korean Wave. And the beauty industry is in the center of it. I hope the passion of it lasts till the end."

This year is the 5th and the contest prepared various programmes based on their accumulated know-how. Participants competed in the 11 fields; Hair & Wig, Cosmetics & Make-up, Aesthetics & Spa, Body Care, Nail Art & Eyelashes, and Cosmetic Surgery & Beauty. If existing contests pursued competition only, this year introduced Pet dog & Handicapped Persons Stylist, Mrs & Senior Beauty Contest, the vision of the beauty industry, as well as Beauty Experience Services through the Theme Halls and Corporate Exhibition Halls. They also provided Educational Halls so that the students can consult about their career path, Product Exhibition Halls for the related associations or organizations to display their products, and Employment Counseling Halls.

Bringing people together

Kiha Sung, the chief director of the International Federation of Beauty Culturist(IFBC), said "it is meaningful that the beauticians introduced themselves to the world. We passed many a sleepless night to prepare this event and we brought people together at this very place of the Han River."

The K-fit pop group Rok-Kiss and a new duet X10 had great performances at the event. Jung, the president of 2014 IBAEC, said "the Korean beauty technique and popularity in the global market is surpassing K-Pop. The beauty industry plays the role as an accelerator of the Korea's new growth business. We appointed Rok-Kiss as our honorary ambassador because they fit our concept." Also featured in the event were 'K~Up Korea Up Style Hair Show', 'Whadam Damryeol Healing Show' and 'Whiskin Art Show'. In addition, 'The Starting Ceremony of Korea Immigrants Association' and 'The Exclamation Ceremony of Disabled Persons Beauty Expo' were held in order to bring people together before the event started.

Tow trucks to pull the notable beauty industry

Among the Corporate Exhibition Halls,  Lugalash and Happy Sonic Global's 10 Minute Diet Healing Shop attracted people's attention. 10 Minute Diet Healing Shop is known as a total diet solutions that provides the pelvic exercise equipment experience services, and the sound wave vibration exercise equipment called 'Body Bling' which is effective for aerobic exercise and strengthening of muscle. LUGA MATERIAL is an eyelashes & cosmetics company which is supplying their goods to Japan, China, Russia, Mongolia and Australia. And the recent explosive demands in the Chinese market prompted their expanding business in the country. Jung said "Happy Sonic Global has many related affiliates. Because the beauty industry is huge, they supported 2014 IBAEC at a group level. We want to make this opportunity to activate the beauty industry. Beauty is the industry already prepared for us. Even if you plan very well, it becomes useless if the industry does not accept. Businessmen should create jobs." 

Moving forward to become global beauticians

"The Han River is the greatest pride of Korea but it is less known. It might be the first time that the contest took place with the Han River as the backdrop. This is an international event. A lot of tourists are surging into Korea. We will introduce Seoul, the Korean Wave, and the Korean Culture based on the moto 'Han River" said Jung.

The symbol of IBEAC represents the unity through the participation of international beauticians. By the participation of Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore, the status of 2014 IBEAC were soared. 2014 IBEAC, in reality and in name, can be defined as an international expo. With cultural programmes and job creation, it contributed to raising the status of the beauty industry. Jung revealed his ambition that they will move forward to become global beauticians over a mere competition for technique and function. And Power Korea is looking forward to seeing 2015 IBEAC.

Happy Sonic Global Co.,Ltd  won the Korea Health Industry Awards

Muyeol Jung, the CEO of Happy Sonic Global Co.,Ltd, won the Special Grand Prize in the wellbeing trend field from 2014 Korea Health Industry Awards on 18 last month at The Riverside Hotel, Seoul. 

Started by Health Industry CEO Summit from 2007 to promote the health industry, the awards this year is the 8th. The awards go to individuals, companies and organizations who have contributed to the development of the health industry. Supported by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service, the awards boasts their top status in Korea. Happy Sonic Global is running 10 Minute Diet Healing Shop and has developed an Eco-Friendly Electronic Bicycle for wellbeing life. By winning the award, they are now recognized for their achievements. Jung said "I'm glad that our efforts are recognized by winning the award. We will do our best to make the world a happy place."

Meanwhile, Rok-Kiss was appointed as the honorary ambassador of Korea Health Industry Awards on the day. Nick named as 'Fitness Health Dol', Rok-Kiss is being loved with their nice appearance by many female fans, and is receiving the attention of the people who are interested in exercise by combining exercise movements with dance choreography.
