삼성전자, 27형 16:9 풀HD ‘커브드 모니터’ SD590C 출시
삼성전자가 지난달 17일 27형 커브드 모니터(모델명 : S27D590CS)를 국내 시장에 출했다.
삼성 커브드 모니터는 화면 중앙과 측면의 시청 거리가 거의 동일하도록 인체공학적 최적 곡률을 적용해 커브드의 깊은 입체감 효과를 통해 차별화된 콘텐츠 몰입감을 제공한다.
삼성 ‘SD590C’는 세계적인 인증기관인 미국 UL과 독일 TUV라인란드로부터 커브드 모니터로는 세계 최초로 색, 휘도, 균일도, 시야각, 계조 표현, 몰입감, 곡면 명암비, 시야각 등에 대한 커브드 화질에 대한 성능을 인증받았다. ‘SD590C’는 외관 디자인도 사용자의 사용 환경을 고려한 스타일리시 한 T자형 커브드 스탠드와 화면이 공중에 떠 있는 듯한 느낌의 디자인으로 실용성과 커브드의 고급스러움을 동시에 추구하고 있다. 또한, 풀HD(1920x1080) 해상도와 상하좌우 어떠한 각도에서도 선명한 콘텐츠를 볼 수 있도록 178도 광시야각 패널을 적용했으며, 350cd/m2 의 화면 밝기와 3000:1의 명암비를 지원해 프리미엄 모니터의 필수 조건을 갖췄다. ‘SD590C’는 게임과 엔터테인먼트에 최적화된 게임모드를 적용해 게이머들이 더욱 선명한 화질감과 몰입감을 느낄 수 있으며, 4ms의 빠른 응답속도를 구현해 스포츠, 게임, 영화 등 동영상 감상에 최적의 화질을 제공한다.
삼성전자 영상디스플레이사업부 김석기 전무는 “‘SD590C’ 커브드 모니터는 깊이 있는 몰입감을 통해 게임과 영화 감상의 수준을 한 단계 높였다”며 “앞으로 멀티미디어 콘텐츠에 최적화된 커브드 모니터 라인업을 강화해 나가겠다”라고 밝혔다.
삼성전자, ‘2015년형 스마트 오븐’ 출시
삼성전자가 지나달 15일 정통 세라믹 방식의 항균 조리실을 적용하고 조리기능이 한층 강화된 ‘2015년형 삼성 스마트 오븐’ 6종을 출시하며 프리미엄 조리기기 시장 확대에 나섰다.
‘2015년형 삼성 스마트 오븐’은 조리실 전면의 도어부를 제외한 5면 전체에 세라믹 방식을 적용해 화덕이나 뚝배기에 넣고 조리한 것처럼 식재료에 골고루 열을 전달하여 더욱 맛있는 요리를 할 수 있다. 항균 세라믹 조리실은 독일의 저명한 항균 인증 기관인 ‘호헨스타인(HohenStein)’으로부터 99.9%의 항균력을 인증받았고, 830℃의 고온에서 구워 도자기처럼 긁힘에 강해 내구성이 뛰어나고 이음새 없는 매끈한 구조로 조리 후 청소도 간편하다.
삼성전자가 특허 출원한 ‘웰빙 튀김’은 열풍 순환 방식으로 기름 없이 튀김 요리가 가능하고 식재료별 맞춤 알고리즘을 적용해 일반 냉동 가공식품에서부터 생재료까지 바삭한 식감을 구현한다. ‘스팀조리’ 기능은 100℃가 넘지 않는 스팀을 이용하여 채소를 데치거나 찜 요리를 할 수 있고, 스팀 사용 후 내부에 남아있는 물을 자동으로 배수해 편리하고 위생적이다. 이 밖에도 요거트 등을 만들 수 있는 ‘발효’ 기능과 말린 과일이나 채소 등을 만들어 주는 ‘건조’ 기능까지 갖춰 다양한 요리를 할 수 있다.
‘2015년형 삼성 스마트 오븐’의 ‘스마트쿡’ 기능은 찜, 구이, 반찬 등 180가지의 요리를 자동으로 수행하고, 세라믹 빌트인 선반을 조리실 하단에 적용해 전자렌지 기능 사용 시 별도의 선반 없이도 바로 조리가 가능하다. 인체공학적인 곡선형의 도어핸들과 아름다운 스노우 패턴을 제품 전면부에 적용하고, 아이스블루 LED로 조리 과정을 안내해주는 뷰 컨트롤과 터치식 조작부를 채용해 프리미엄 디자인을 구현했다.
삼성전자 생활가전사업부 엄영훈 부사장은 “‘2015년형 삼성 스마트 오븐’은 다양한 조리 기능을 갖춘 프리미엄 제품”이라며 “건강과 위생까지 꼼꼼하게 생각해 더욱 행복하고 만족스러운 식생활을 제공한다”고 말했다.

Samsung Electronics released 27" 16:9 full HD 'Curved Monitor' SD590C on 17 last month in the domestic market. It applied the ergonomic optimum curvature so that the viewing distance from the center and the side of the monitor should be the same and it provides a differentiated sense of immersion through its deep cubic effect. Samsung 'SD590C' was certified for the first time in the world for its image quality in color, brightness, uniformity, viewing angle, tone, sense of immersion, and contrast range of the curved surface, from the world renowned certification agencies UL(US) and T?V Rheinland(Germany). SD590C pursues practicality and exclusivity with its stylish T shaped curved stand and a floating-screen like design. It is a premium monitor which provides full HD(1920x1080) resolution and 178 degree wide viewing angle panel, and supports 350cd/m2 brightness and 3000:1 contrast range. It is optimized for game and entertainment so that the gamers can have a clear picture and sense of immersion. It also realized a fast response speed of 4ms to provide optimum image quality for sports, games and movies.
Sukki Kim, the executive director of Samsung Electronics' Image Display Operation Division, said "SD590C Curved Monitor has taken game and movie appreciation to another level through a deep sense of immersion. Samsung Electronics released 'Smart Oven 2015'
Samsung Electronics released 'Samsung Smart Oven 2015' in 6 species applied with authentic ceramic style antibacterial technology and reinforced cooking function. It applied the method to the all 5 sides of the oven except the front door to transfer the heat evenly as if it is cooked in a fire pot or an earthen pot so that it can give better taste. It was certified for its 99.9% antibacterial ability from the renowned German antibacterial certification agency HohenStein. Like porcelain, it was made at 830℃ and has excellent durability, and is easy to clean after cooking as it does not have any joints.
'Wellbeing Fritter', patented by Samsung Electronics, enables it to fry in the hot air circulating method without oil, and applied a customized algorism according to ingredients in order to provide crispiness for both processed frozen food and raw food. The 'Steam Cooking' function parboils or cooks vegetables by using steam in less than 100℃, and drains automatically the water left after cooking for the hygiene purposes. In addition, it has 'Fermentation' function which can make yogurt, and 'Dry' function which makes dried fruit or vegetables, and 'Smart Cook' function which can make 180 different food such as stew, grill, and side dishes, and 'Microwave' function enables the oven to heat things up without the plate. Design wise, it applied curved door handle and snow pattern on the front part, and View Control and Touch Control which guide the process of cooking through ice blue LED. Younghoon Um, the vice-president of Samsung Electronic's Household Appliances Operation Division said "Samsung Smart Oven 2015 is a premium product which has various cooking functions. We took health and hygiene into consideration when making it and it provides satisfying dietary life."
