삼성 디지털프라자, 신개념 복합문화공간 선보여

삼성전자가 기존 가전 매장에서 찾아볼 수 없는 새로운 개념을 제시하는 복합문화공간을 젊음의 거리 홍대에서 첫 선을 보였다. 삼성 디지털프라자 홍대점은 20~30세대의 유동인구가 밀집한 홍대 지역 상권의 특색에 맞게 획일화된 매장 운영에서 벗어나 IT·모바일 제품 중심의 매장 구성과 감각적인 인테리어로 전자 제품 매장의 혁신적인 변화를 선도하고 있다. 

최근 1인 가구의 증가로 혼자 여가나 취미를 즐기는 ‘나홀로 라운징’이 사회 트렌드가 됨에 따라 삼성 디지털프라자 홍대점은 이러한 고객을 위해 테마별 체험공간인 ‘라운징존’을 마련, 트렌드에 민감한 젊은 고객들에게 이전에 없던 다양한 서비스를 제공한다. 

이번에 새롭게 선보인 ‘라운징존’은 휴식, 여행, 운동, 취미생활 등 네 가지 테마로 운영되며, 좀 더 편안하고 감각적으로 ‘나홀로 라운징’을 즐길 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 있다. 

집안에서 나만의 시간을 갖고 편안하게 휴식과 여유를 즐기는 고객을 위한 부티크 라운징에서는 TV와 사운드바, 냉장고, 세탁기 등 다양한 가전제품을 체험할 수 있다. 

가전 매장의 틀을 깨는 발상의 전환으로 꾸며진 삼성 디지털프라자 홍대점은 고객들에게 단순 제품 판매 공간이 아닌 다양한 라이프스타일을 제안하고 트렌드를 공유하는 만남의 공간으로, 홍대 주변을 찾는 고객들에게 ‘핫 플레이스’로 자리잡을 것으로 기대된다. 

삼성전자 관계자는 “삼성 디지털프라자 홍대점은 기존 가전 제품 매장에서 찾아볼 수 없던 새로운 형태의 복합문화공간을 표방하는 신개념 매장으로, 더 많은 고객들이 새로운 문화를 보고 듣고 느낄 수 있도록 온·오프라인을 통한 체험 기회를 점차 확대해 나갈 것”이라며 “홍대점을 시작으로 각 매장의 특성에 맞는 라이프스타일 체험 공간 및 이업종과의 협업을 확대해 나갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다. 

삼성전자, IFA에서 ‘미래의 가정’ 선보인다

삼성전자가 9월 5일부터 독일 베를린에서 열리는 IFA 2014에서 ‘삼성 스마트홈’을 중심으로 다양한 프리미엄 제품들을 선보인다. 특히, 이번 전시회에서 삼성전자는 스마트 홈을 전시장 중앙에 배치하고 삼성이 만드는 다양한 제품에 스마트홈 서비스를 바탕으로 실생활에서 소비자들이 찾을 수 있는 가치를 보여 줄 예정이다. 이는 단순히 기기를 음성으로 켜고 끄는 것 뿐 아니라 ‘에어컨 온도 내려’, ‘침실 조명 켜’등 보다 세부적이고 다양한 명령을 음성으로 전달하는 것이 가능하다. 삼성전자는 올해 참가 업체 중 최대 규모인 8,730㎡(약 2,640평)의 ‘시티큐브 베를린(CityCube Berlin)’에 단독으로 제품들을 전시한다. ‘시티큐브 베를린(CityCube Berlin)’은 지난 5월 새롭게 문을 연 건물로 IFA를 주최하는 독일 ‘메세 베를린 (Messe Berlin)’에서도 큰 공을 들이고 있는 초대형 전시 공간이며 투자 금액은 8,300만 유로(한화 약 1,100억 원) 에 이른다. 지난 5월 있었던 Pre-IFA에서도 ‘메세 베를린’측은 단독 전시장인 ‘시티큐브 베를린(CityCube Berlin)’에 대해 '전 세계에서 가장 뛰어난 기술을 가지고 있는 삼성전자와의 협업을 통해 서로 좋은 시너지를 낼 수 있게 되었다고 언급한 바 있다. ‘시티큐브 베를린(CityCube Berlin)’은 총 3층에 해당되는 건물 전체를 삼성전자가 단독으로 사용해 각종 전시는 물론 거래선 미팅, 내부 회의 등 다양한 목적으로 사용될 예정이다. 삼성전자 CE부문 윤부근 대표는 “전시장을 찾은 관람객들이 스마트홈의 미래를 체험하고 이를 실제로 구현해 내는 다양한 제품들을 볼 수 있을 것”이라 말하고 “올해부터 단독으로 운영하는 ‘시티큐브 베를린’ 전시를 통해 전자업계를 이끌어 가는 선도기업의 모습도 널리 알릴 것”이라고 밝혔다.

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS opened a new conceptual multiple culture space that we have never seen at the electronic shops ever before in Hongdae where many young people go every day. SAMSUNG DIGITAL PLAZA HONGDAE store is leading an innovative change of with a sensual interior style at the store with orienting IT-mobile items more focused to fit in the location, Hongdae where people who are around 20~30’s and hanging out there.  

Lately, as the single house holder has been increasing, each individual doesn’t mind going out for hobby and their relaxation alone, there is an ‘alone lounging’. Since it becomes a social trend, SAMSUNG DIGITAL PLAZA HONGDAE store set up for them ‘Lounge Zone’, so they are trying to provide various service to young customers who are quite sensitive to trends. There are four theme spaces such as rest, travel, exercise and hobby life and they are suggesting ways to enjoy the alone lounge more sensually and more comfortably. On the other hand, for people who enjoy the rest and comfort their own time in their house, they have a boutique lounge where they can feel comfy and break time. There are TV, sound bar, fridge and washing machine like some household appliance and visitor can experience.

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS shows ‘future household’ at IFA

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS is supposed to show various premium items that is centering SAMSUNG smart home at IFA 2014 that is opening in Berlin Germany. Especially, at this exhibition, SAMSUNG is planning to show off the value for the customers to find some values in their real lives based on various smart home services. 

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS is releasing their items exclusively at the City Cube Berlin, which is the biggest size(8,730㎡) among the candidates. The City Cube Berlin is a building that opened last May newly. It is a super-humongous exhibition space that Messe Berlin, which is hosting IFA, and they are putting lots of efforts and their investment money almost reaches 83 million euro (about 110 billion KW). There was a pre-IFA in May and Messe Berlin used to mention about ‘City-Cube Berlin’ that it would show a good synergy for each other by cooperating with SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS. ‘City-Cube Berlin’ is supposed to be used for many purposes like various exhibitions, trading meetings and internal meetings since SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS is going to use the whole building, which is a three-story. CEO Yoon, Boo-Geun of CE department, SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS said, “All visitors who come here can experience the future of smart homes and they will see many different items that realize in real. From this year, ‘City-Cube Berlin’ is run alone by us and we will let people know the leading company in the world out of that project.”
