There was a time when the three great scholars, Galcheon imhun, Toegye Yihwang, and nammyeong Josik, were dyeing on the rice paper by the tip of a writing brush against beautiful and outstanding scenery of Geochang with their poetry, writing, and painting in Geochang, Yeongnam area 500 years ago. A master Namjae Lim Kiok, the 12th generation's descendant of Galcheon Imhun scholar who wrote the 'Rajetongmun of a style of handwriting, did create black-and-white drawing flowering original and primal beauty of life by combining Balmuk techniques of oriental painting and the marbling techniques of western painting. From his grandfather, his father to Namjae, Cultural Heritage of the house, his family seems to be showing itself, the intangible cultural heritage of his family's talent enough to be proud of our country's premier cultural arts. The black-and-white drawing of painter Namjae Lim Kiok is the elegance itself not tied by any form captivating the 

people's eyes at a glance. 



Snowflakes portray on the drawing paper, deep fragrance is felt


  "Seolhwa Sumukhwa of painter Namjae Lim Kiok seriously expressing the fluttering snow on the wings of the wind down from the heaven, as if the whole world is blessed with white snow sprinkled blossoms." A master, painter Namjae Lim Kiok explained, he climbed Baekdu Mountain in June, 1990. It was in June in Baekdu Mountain, but it was snowing of December! After I saw I was snowing through the mind's eye with the mysterious heart, I did a lot of research to draw the blossoms of snow. Thanks to that, there are the works of snowflakes now." It is known that his grandfather, his father, and himself painter Namjae Lim Kiok grew up in a house of the Cultural Heritage. Painter Namjae Lim Kiok said, "no matter how I grew up in the houseof the Cultural Heritage, and had talents, I should try.  began to practice on the rice paper by the brush at one time, when I practiced the amount of one truck on the rice paper, and I did a lot of practising. When the valley was formed on his finger and couldn't hold the brush, I put it on the palm of his hand, holding it, when it was hardened, I did it alternately with my left hand, which was his posture for  his ink painting.

  Painter Namjae Lim Kiok said about future goals, "I want to share Monochrome (single color painting method) 'Snow Blossom' with people around If the. 'The painting on Snowflakes' is receiving high interest from the United States and Europe. He is active currently in an adjunct professor at American Nobel University.
