LG¡¯s ¡®Whisen Son Heung-min¡¯ air conditioner in popularity 


Early sultry weather is increasing the sales of LG¡¯s Whisen air conditioner. Especially, ¡®Whisen Son Heung-min¡¯ is leading the growth of sales taking up the bulk of Whisen air-con sales after May with the rise of soccer fever. 

Since the end of last month, LG Electronics, following the copy title of ¡®design of the breeze¡¯ and ¡®Temperature of breeze¡¯ in expression of even stronger air-cooling performance of ¡®Whisen Son Heung-min,¡¯ is going to be out to promote the product by ¡®Son Heung-min¡¯s TV ads from 13 this month in accordance with the soccer festival of the global village. Besides, from this month, they are presenting a cash bag for up to 200,000 won worth by purchase model through the event of ¡®Go Korea, Go with LG Whisen¡¯ and additional 100,000 won worth of cash bag for purchase of the air conditioner combined with relevant TV model. LG ¡®Whisen Son Heung-min¡¯ air conditioner implements cooling speed up to 20% bigger against the last year¡¯s product through ¡®Focus 4D cubic air-cooling¡¯ with up-down and right-left discharge port on the center. It also applied ¡®ice-cool power¡¯ function that lowers the space temperature fast with a cold air over 4¡ÆC lower than ordinary air-con breeze. LG Electronics¡¯ Kim Je-hwoon for Korea AE marketing emphasized, ¡°Product competitiveness in enhancing air-cooling performance coupled with early sultry weather has increased the sales of air conditioner rapidly. Despite this jump in air-con orders, we are going to focus all our capabilities to supply products and installation service promptly.¡±

LG Electronics, marking the UN-designated ¡®the world¡¯s Environment Day,¡¯ positively participated in carrying out ¡®social responsibility¡¯ from all regions of the world. The company is to open ¡®Global Volunteer Day¡¯ event from its all corporations spread in the world, including Korea, China, Russia, Sweden, Austria, Malaysia, etc.            

¡®Global Volunteer Day¡¯ is an eco-friendly activity that LG Electronics has carried out voluntarily each year in connection to UNEP¡¯s environmental protection campaign since 2010.
