타인의 아픔을 어루만지는 일은 많은 에너지와 사명감을 필요로 한다. 사람을 대하고 그들과 공감해야하는 일이기 때문이다. 보험과 재무설계를 하는 것 역시 많은 사람을 만나고 그들의 이야기에 공감하고 기쁨과 아픔을 공유하는 것을 기본으로 하기에 믿음과 신뢰는 가장 큰 부분을 차지하게 된다. 하지만 가장 우선시 돼야 하는 부분이 바로 고객의 상황에 맞는 적절한 재무설계가 이뤄져야한다는 것이다. 월간 파워코리아는 늘 믿음과 신뢰를 바탕으로 고객과 롱런하고 싶다고 말하는 (주)인카인슈 송일헌 팀장을 만나 그의 파란만장한 인생스토리와 국내 금융 트랜드를 읽어보았다. 

“두 번의 커다란 시련은 나를 더욱 단단하게 만들었다”

송일헌 팀장의 인생스토리는 책1권을 쓰기에도 부족할 정도로 파란만장한 삶의 연속이었다. 

육군부사관으로 복무하며 그 누구보다 국가를 위해 헌신해온 송 팀장이었지만 갑작스레 그의 8세 아들이 혈소판 감소성 자색반증이라는 희귀질병으로 투병하게 됨으로써 천직이라 믿었던 육군부사관직을 그만두고 전역을 하게 된다. 이유는 즉, 안정적이지만 군인 봉급으로는 도저히 아들의 치료비를 감당할 수 없기 때문이었다. 혈소판 감소성 자색반증은 혈소판으로 불리는 특정 혈액 세포의 수치가 비정상적으로 낮고 혈액조혈작용으로 인해 혈소판을 공격하는 질환으로 피부의 자반, 잇몸 출혈, 빈번하고 장기간의 코피 등의 증상이 나타난다. 이로 인해 송 팀장의 아들은 현재까지 50회가 넘게 입원을 했을 정도이다. 이런 아들의 병원비를 마련하기 위해 군복무시절 금융설계에 필요한 다수의 자격증을 취득하고 본격적으로 보험과 재무설계를 위해 KFG에 입사하면서 새로운 도전을 시작하게 된다. 이렇게 조금씩 고객을 만나며 금융이라는 용어를 이해할 때 쯤 안타깝게도 아내가 혈관질병 급성뇌출혈로 세상을 떠나게 된다. 한 번도 아닌 두 번의 고통은 야속하게도 송 팀장에게 찾아왔고 아내가 없는 빈자리는 송 팀장뿐 아니라 두 아이에게도 힘든 상황이었지만 현재까지 당당히 가장의 역할을 해 오고 있다. 이 상황에서 느낀 점이 바로 보험의 중요성이었다. 당시 송 팀장의 아내와 아이는 보험 설계가 제대로 되어 있지 않아 적절한 도움과 보장을 받지 못했기 때문이다. “그때 생각했습니다. 사람을 돕는 보험, 사람을 살리는 보험을 하자고 말이죠. 설계사로서 다시는 금융이든 보험이든 이러한 일로 불이익이 생기지 않게 하겠다고 말이죠.” 이런 그의 생각은 돈이 목적이 아닌 믿음과 신뢰를 추구하게 되었고 그 믿음과 신뢰는 고스란히 송 팀장에게 돌아오는 부메랑 같은 역할을 하고 있었다. 

책임감과 사명감을 겸비한 진정한 ‘금융주치의’

(주)인카인슈는 최대의 GA로서 특정상품만 존재하는 타 회사들과는 달리 현존하는 모든 회사들의 상품을 비교하고 그에 맞는 적절한 상품들을 취합해 선보일 수 있는 장점을 보유하고 있고 GA업계에서는 유일하게 정보기술연구소를 운영하며 최고의 프로그램을 선보이고 있다. 단순한 우리 회사의 상품으로 재무를 설계하지 않기 때문에 고객의 상황을 파악하고 재무 상태를 중요시하는 송일헌 팀장에게는 꿈을 펼칠 수 있는 최상의 조건이었다. 이 전에 몸담았던 KFG에서 신입연도대상 Lookie Champion, 3년 연속 MDRT와 convention을 연속 달성하고 2w 60주를 달성하며 좋은 활약을 보여 왔다. 이런 그의 활약은 돈을 떠나 꼭 고객에게 필요한 설계를 해주기 때문이었고 단순히 상품을 판매하는 것이 아닌 마음을 사고 신뢰를 보이며 소통을 일궈냈기에 가능한 일이었다. 

“한번은 고객의 요청으로 상담을 하기 위해 한 고객을 찾아갔습니다. 분명 재무 설계를 요청하여 달려갔지만 그 고객은 일정한 수입이 없었고 상당히 어려운 상황에 처해 있었습니다. 그 자리에서 말없이 저는 현금 100만원을 자리에 놓으며 좋은 곳에 써달라며 말하고 자리를 나왔습니다.” 이런 상황은 단순히 상품을 파는 정신이 아닌 진심으로 매 상황을 대하기에 가능한 일이었다. 이 밖에도 입사 당시 무조건 상품을 팔아야겠다고 해서 고객의 상황에 맞지 않는 상품을 판 적이 있었지만 차후 자신의 모토와는 다르다는 생각에 고객들의 손실을 직접 메워 주는 사건도 있었다. 시간이 지남에 따라 지금 당장 상품만을 파는 것이 아닌 믿음과 신뢰를 바탕으로 남들과는 전혀 다른 송 팀장의 노하우였다.    

“완벽한 상품은 존재하지 않습니다. 우선 자신의 상황에 맞는 설계가 필요하죠. 젊은 분들이라면 목돈을 마련할 수 있는 안정적인 상품이 필요합니다. 그 후 다소 공격적인 상품들도 필요하죠. 바로 지난해와 마찬가지로 올해도 지속적인 사랑을 받고 있는 변액유니버셜 같은 상품 말이죠. 이유는 즉, 비과세를 함께 동반하고 있기 때문에 조금만 관심을 갖고 추가적인 납입을 한다면 생각보다 안정적인 투자를 할 수 있습니다.” 

아내와의 이별과 희귀질병으로 투병하고 있는 아들. 슬픔을 딛고 두 아이의 아빠로서 하루 24시간이 모자라다고 하는 송일헌 팀장은 그 누구보다 파란만장한 인생스토리를 겪어왔기에 언젠가 자신이 살아온 이야기를 책으로 펼쳐낼 계획을 갖고 있다. 또한 소년소녀가정에 도움을 주며 단 한명만이라도 돈 때문에 공부를 하지 못하는 상황을 막고 싶다고 말하는 그는 봉사와 신뢰를 구축한 이시대의 진정한 ‘금융주치의’였다.

Have a Long Run with Customers On the Basis of Trust and Confidence

  Soothing the pain of others require a lot of energy and a sense of duty. That duty is to have to treat people and sympathize with them. The faith and trust takes up the largest portion as the insurance and financial plan is also  the duty to have to meet a lot of people sympathize with stories and to share the joy and pain fundamentally. Monthly Power Korea met Team Leader Song Il-heon of INCAR INSU who wants to have a long run with customers always based on trust and confidence and read the story of his eventful life and  domestic financial trend. 

"Two large trials have made ??me more strong"

Team Leader Song Il-heon's life story has been a series of eventful life enough to write more than a book.  Team Leader Song was serving in the army as noncom missioned officer having been dedicated to the countrymore than any other one, but he retired and quit the officer vocation he called the to the officer, because his eight-year-old son started to suddenly fight against rare disease, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. The reason he retired is that the military profession   was stable but he can not afford the cost of treatment with a soldier's salary.   The idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura called the blood platelet is that the levels of certain blood cells is abnormally low and it is the disease attacks platelets due to the action of blood stem, which symptoms is the purpura of the skin, bleeding gums, frequent and prolonged nosebleeds. Because of this, his son was admitted to the hospital more than 50 times up to date. In order to raise hospital costs for his son he acquired a number of certificates requiring financial design in his military service days, and joined the KFG for insurance and financial planning in earnest started with the new challenge. So little by little he met customers and understood the financial terms, when unfortunately his wife left the world due to the acute cerebral vascular disease. He cold-heartedly faced the pain two time not one, and the vacancy without his wife was a difficult situation for not only for him but also for his two children, but he has proudly played a role as a head of household until now. in that situation what he felt was the importance of insurance. At that time his wife and children did not receive adequate help and insurance because they didn't properly make insurance plan. "Then I thought. The insurance to help and save people, which means he was going to sell those insurance. As an insurance planner he would try to his best not to occur disadvantage on the finance or insurance from those cases." His thought pursued trust and confidence, not the purpose of Money, which trust and confidence paying a role a boomerang on him.

A true "financial physician" with responsibility and sense of duty

  INCARINSU as a largest GA compares has the advantage to compare the existing products of all the companies and release the proper insurance products by collecting them unlike other companies with particular products, and is running the Institute for Information Technology, which is the only one in GA industry and is putting the best programs on the market. He does not finance simply the product of his own company, which system was an excellent condition to expand his dream to team leader Song who understands the situation of the customers and considers the financial conditions as being more important. In the former firm KFG he realized new year prize Lookie Champion, achieved MDRT & convention for three consecutive years and  2w 60 weeks and he showed good activity like that. His performance was possible because he planned really necessary for the customers, not thinking the money he was going to make and simply was not selling products but was wining the customer's heart, was showing his confidence in the customer, and communicating with people. 

"Once I went to a customer the customer's request for consultations. Obviously I went to the customer for financial plan the customer's request. But the customer   had no regular income and was in a very difficult situation. I left his house, laying one million won for him and saying Song wanted him to spend the money for some good things." This situation was possible as his spirit just not didn't sell products but treated customers sincerely. In addition, when he entered the company he sold the product not meeting the customer's situation with the mind to sell products unconditionally, which case, he thought, was different from his motto, and he directly made up for the loss of the customers. As time passed, he just didn't sell insurance but he was selling the products based on trust and confidence, which was the know-how of the team leader Song completely different from others.

"There is no perfect product. First, it is necessary the product plan suitable for the customers. Young people need reliable products  to be able to raise lump sum.  

An then they also need a little more aggressive products, which is the variable universal product being loved continuously this year as well as last year. The reason is that it accompanied with a tax-free, in which if you pay for an additionally with a little interest, you can stably invest in the product more than you can think." 

Parting with his wife, his son in battle against rare disease. Team leader Song Ilheon, as the father of two children overcoming grief for whom 24 hours a day is not enough, has been undergoing eventful life story more than others. So he plans to spread out his life story through the story book. Team leader Song who says that he wants to prevent the situation in which only if a single student can't study because of the money, helping boys and girls homes, is the very true "financial physician' in this era who has built service and trust.
